Drive-By in the Labyrinth

As everything fails at once, with a debt-ridden government presiding over a herd of selfish and oblivious citizens, those who are not products of the decay are uniting to oppose it. We want escape, but know that it will not leave us alone, so we are rising to take power and drive out the bad and replace it with the good. The Alt Right are folk heroes of this movement, even as all seems lost and the future uncertain.  Folk Heroes Of The Apocalypse

BOOM! (ers) Part 1   The term “baby boomer” applies to those born from the end of WW2 to 1964. During this time, there was a huge increase in population as traditional values, lack of birth control, and a thriving economy propelled optimistic and prosperous white Americans to reproduce in large numbers. Roughly 76 million of them were born. Of that population, around 65 million are still alive. Immigration brings the total to around 80 million people. Around 10,000 of them are retiring every day. Most are compelled to retire by age 70.5. Once a person reaches that age, the IRS requires them to withdraw at least 5% of the value of their retirement plans such as IRAs or 401(k)s. Pew research found that 1.5 million Americans reached the age of 70 last year, a trend that will continue for the next 15 years.

To lose one’s smart-phone — in other words, to lose a thing that never existed in all of human history until just over a decade ago ago — is now a crisis requiring immediate action. Imagine really cutting yourself off: no cell-phone, no Google, no Amazon, no YouTube, no Facebook, no Twitter, no email, no texting, no Google Maps, no Wikipedia. Doggo – waka waka waka

The Time Has Come To Stop The War On Free Speech |  California, under Democrat rule, has become a rogue state ruled by leftist mobs and their political godfathers, where there are a million regulations, but no rule of law, where there is a code for everything, but where the Constitution no longer operates. Antifa is a criminal terrorist organization. Its masked thugs know they are criminals which is why they hide their identities. The first responsibility of government is the safety of its citizens. When violent thugs shut down free assemblies, government is not doing its job.

Oceano Marine killed in WWII finally laid to rest on the Central -74 Years   Murray’s remains arrived back in California on Wednesday. On Friday, people waving American flags lined Highway 1 as the procession escorting his casket made its way through Oceano to the cemetery where Murray was buried. His casket was placed on top of his mother’s “The family has been working on it for the last 8 years, and we finally succeeded in bringing him back to his mother. His mother has always waited and has waited for him to come back,” said George Winslett, George Murray’s nephew.

Let’s see how much “bang for the buck” we’re getting from DC’s bespoke suited and storied intelligence services. Pearl Harbor in 1941, oops. The Ardennes Counteroffensive, or Battle of the Bulge, in 1944, the biggest battle fought by the US in World War II, sprung while DC was certain German resistance had collapsed. China entering the Korean War in 1950, big surprise, where did they come from?  Russia, which DC said “couldn’t build a decent alarm clock”, launched the first satellite ev-ver in 1957, the first of many firsts, even ‘though DC’s odious Operation Paperclip “guaranteed” it couldn’t happen.DC’s intelligence services routinely embarrass themselves, decade after decade, yet they strut their stuff and talk wink-wink conspiratorially at Georgetown cocktail parties. Okay. But why do we listen to these people? They’re either lying or incompetent or delusional, same result whichever way.  Woodpile Report

The Mood Music of Mohammed :: SteynOnline Fifteen dead on a glamorous and glittering European boulevard at the height of the tourist season now barely rates a #JeSuisWhatever hashtag, never mind an all-star pop concert with an audience of sorrowful, tilty-headed locals promising that no matter how often you blow us up we won’t change – by, say, adopting a less tilty-headed and sorrowful expression.

Trump—Compared to What? – American Greatness Trump faults both the neo-nazis and Antifa activists for Virginia’s violence. That tactic was best mastered by “both-sides” Obama. In reaction to the Fort Hood “workplace violence” by the Islamist mass-murderer Major Nidal Hassan, Obama could not even offer a feeble “on the one hand/on the other hand” morally equivalent editorial, but instead would not cite radical Islam at all. When Jews were singled out and butchered in a Kosher deli in Paris by Islamist terrorists, Obama wrote it off as just “a bunch of folks in a deli.” Black nationalism inspired the murderer of police in Dallas—but the bloodshed was fobbed off by Obama as an example of gun violence and “powerful weapons.”

The Corrupt Midget | The Z Blog The other angle Shapiro is working is the flattery scam. He invests a lot of time and effort in presenting himself as the thinking man’s right-winger. That in itself reveals something about him. His appeal is that smart normies can feel like intellectuals because they listen to Ben Shapiro. The fact that he can say he supports free speech and in the same thread condemn the speech of everyone to his Right reveals him to be a pseudo-intellectual moral nullity. He’s an obsequious rumpswab, who will say anything for a buck.

America – In Times of Madness | Joel D. Hirst’s Blog My great granddaddy would be amused by the antics of the snowflakes. I think he’d watch the news, and he’d chuckle. He probably wouldn’t say anything – that wasn’t his style; but he’d probably be thinking what we’re all thinking. These odd new Americans with their strange ideas and perplexing behaviors are not really very strong – juxtaposed against the great struggles of feeding a family in depression; of fighting a war; of buying a house in a world where money wasn’t easy to come by; of going to your union job day after day even though it was boring and you were tired and often in pain; and of raising a family during times of limited opportunity. Occasionally he might even murmur the words “grow up”.

“The main takeaway message is that use of cannabis can result in subtle changes in the way you move.” Said the author of a study quoted in “Marijuana users WALK differently: Study shows how the drug affects users’ elbows, shoulders and knees” in The Daily Mail, which had us laughing over the line “A marijuana user’s knee reaches a greater speed when they walk than a non-user’s knee does while walking.”

Ex-Louisiana governor Kathleen Blanco criticizes Houston for their lack of an adequate evacuation plan:”You have to have a coordinated effort so that people have confidence in Government getting them out of harm’s way, in a sensible way.” I guess in her mind the evacuation of New Orleans after Katrina went smoothly. MOTUS A.D.: Rabbit Hole Wednesday

In the left’s last desperate attempt to keep its nostrils above water, the always delusional Antifa is being resurrected and breast-fed for reenactments of ’30s street brawls with imaginary Brown Shirts. Truly pathetic. So sad. Cue the violins. Ol’ Remus

Southern Grandmother: dip recalcitrant young hands in blackstrap molasses, then hand them a ball of cotton. Busyness ensues.

I guess in her mind the evacuation of New Orleans after Katrina went smoothly.

Sure it did. They just got the Feds to send all of the looter population to Houston, and awaited results. More to come.

“….so that people have confidence in Government….”
    =====================================

I have confidence this rotten assed gov’t will continue to fail at every thing it involves itself with.

Gerard — I’m enjoying getting to know more about Harry Sternberg, the artist of your banner, “The Family, Industry and Agriculture.” There is a website run by a guy, Marc Reed, who seems like a good resource for the details on Sternberg’s art. http://www.marcreed.com/default.aspx?pg=349&ssgrp=32&ssitem=483

Do you know this artist pretty well?

  • Vanderleun August 31, 2017, 1:32 PM

Thanks, Abigail. And nope I don’t know his art well. This came by when I was searching for AD banner art. But I’ll check him out.

  • Vanderleun August 31, 2017, 1:32 PM

PS Abigail… when are you going to get your own blog?

  • Alleged Accomplice August 31, 2017, 11:03 PM

Those boys, either me or my brother would have let the five slide and then split it later.

Harry Sternberg, a Russian American Jew who was born in NYC after the turn of the century, is an accomplished illustrator and teacher. His work has a Social Realist flavor, and, true to his Lefty Innards, he was an active Socialist.

Gerard — I’m currently involved in a little art project of my own right now — as you know. When are you going to ship my beret? lol

  • Casey Klahn September 1, 2017, 7:34 AM

Sternberg: NYC Socialist. Art: Social Realism.
