Woodpile Is Back and Remus’ Intact

“Having missed posting yer ol’ Woodpile Report for the 10th, this issue, number 537, sort of covers it. Yeah, it’s not quite at the standard my beloved readers deserve, and some of the content is a bit dated. As an excuse I offer an unavoidable and unwelcome distraction. The outcome of my travails has been resolved, and optimally so. I’m a satisfied customer. More below.” Woodpile Report

Don’t ever do that again. Ever. Serious. I’m getting up there and these old valves can’t handle it.
When I flick the switch the light comes on, when I throw the lever water comes out, and when I grab a fresh mug of mud and sit down in front of the pixels on Tues morn Remus spins the wheel. Just like it always is. Us old doodz don’t like change, unless we initiate it, and when others initiate it we resist, violently if necessary. So don’t do it again. Fair warning.

Kidding aside, glad you’re back and OK Remus and hope you stay that way til after I’m gone at least.

The English speaking world, at least the parts I can stand, can breathe again. So glad to learn this.

The pile ‘0 prayers certainly didn’t hurt him any.

So glad you’re out of danger, Remus! I was going to say, “out of the woods,” but then you might take me to the woodshed for that….

And what a fine Woodpile Report! If that’s “not quite at the standard,” then it’ll sure do for now! I too am a most satisfied customer!
