Mark Zuckerberg is CEO of Meta, formerly Facebook, and arguably one of the ten most despicable people on Planet Earth. Fixed it.

“Despicable” does not at all equal “most important.” It can be contained within it but is really a very minor aspect. This is two hours listening to this man explain / emote / argue / rationalize / disclose himself. Despise him or not he’s going to shape the invisible. You might want to gain some direct insight since it is unlikely he’s going to be dropping by your place for dinner.

      • John Venlet February 27, 2022, 9:42 AM

Point taken, Gerard, but I remain totally disinterested in anything emanating from that man’s mouth. Does he “shape the invisible?” So do demons, and I do not care for their insights either. And if Zuckerberg did drop by my house, unlikely though it may be, it would not be dinner he would receive from my hand.

Everybody serves somebody, whether they realize this or not. And there are only two—count ’em!—choices.

            Choose wisely.

I did see a 10 man armored personnel carrier for sale on Bring a Trailer, but it was outta my price range. Great rendition by Etta, and the visuals were pretty good too.

Before I spend two hours hanging with the Zuck thing… here’s just a minute with Joe Rogan questioning the credibility of Bill Gates. Why would anyone listen to Bill about anything even though he’s probably an “important” person? https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/02/joe-rogan-rips-bill-gates-giving-health-advice-sick/

    • Hyland February 27, 2022, 9:16 AM

      Here’s a more direct link to Joe’s appraisal of Gates… https://tinyurl.com/52ht4udx

      • Vanderleun February 27, 2022, 3:03 PM

        Thanks. I can use that.

  • Dirk February 27, 2022, 9:23 AM

Zuck, impacts exactly zero stuff in my life, he’s a space alien. Spawn of the devil himself. He’s married to a communist Chinese gal, a puppet for big red.

Let’s see,,,,,, did I miss anything? Nope.

I can’t see the importance of presumed people in virtual reality.
Here on the compound it only exists with my permission and with another push of the button it all vanishes, just like that.

There are many important things in my life and some of them are on my computers but absolutely NOTHING involved with or associated with the web is important. At all. (I knew lot’s of life BEFORE computers and with each passing day more and more human beings are unable to say that) Because, like I said, with a simple button push, no matter if I push it or the criminal gov’t pushes it, it all vanishes like a fart in a tornado. I’ve never heard zuck speak nor do I want to.

    • Boat Guy February 28, 2022, 6:33 AM

Hoo boy ! Agreeing with ghost again!
Perfect summation of where I’m at WRT nearly all of these vermin.

“Time spent in reconnaissance is never wasted” probably still applies. I’ll give this a look later.

Just a glance at the intro reveals a man claiming to mean well. A lot of evil has come from powerful people doing evil things for the purported greater good, no?

He has followers, and the ability to create more followers.

Choose this day whom you will serve.

    • Sid V February 27, 2022, 12:50 PM

“A lot of evil has come from powerful people doing evil things for the purported greater good”

The devil himself – George Soros – comes to mind.

“…arguably one of the ten most important people on Planet Earth.” Let’s see… after my 5 grandchildren, my wife, my 2 sons, my pastor, my next door neighbors, the addicted amputee at the stoplight who wants money, and the rest of the planet with the exception of the 535 people in the Congress & Senate. Yep, he’s right up there.

    • Vanderleun February 27, 2022, 2:10 PM

Emil, brother in Christ, do I have to remind you that the point of the statement is not to belittle your friends, family, or faith? I take it as read that those would be the most important people on Planet Earth to you; as they should be to all individuals. I doubt unless you have an exceedingly well-placed family and friends that they have as much influence over life among these principalities as Zuckerberg. Which was, as I am sure you know, the point of the phrase.

We went to a local high school crab feed last night, as luck would have it I was seated next to two sisters from Denmark, one was 87 the other 79, bright blue eyes, sharp as whips. I spent the evening literally with these ladies, they still speak with their native accent, which I had trouble keeping up with.

I’ve never met these ladies, and we had a ball. We talked about war, the United States, and the peril we are in, “ their words”. Was an informative fun time. I got to teach the ladies how to crack crab leg shells, we were a mess by dinners end, crab flying everywhere. Surprised nobody lost an eye. I had a chuckle, the sisters brought walnut crackers ! That’s thinking out of the box!

I was and am amazed at just how well these sisters articulated the very problems I/ we see. We talked about how one becomes informed, as they pointed out they both own their own Dairy Farms up with the chickens, to bed after evening chores.

At one point they asked how I’d become so informed, at such a young age I laughed, ladies I’m 65, we literally solved the problems of the world, will madly cracking fresh crab legs. When the meal was over, they asked if they might have more. I sourced two gallon plastic bags, summoned the students serving, and filled both plastic bags to the top. Reminding them to place this crab in the refrigerator as soon as they got home. Was amused both thought they were crab smugglers!

At noon today I’m driving to the younger sisters house to loan here some books, I scan Weekly.
I’m taking out books to better “ hopefully” help them understand how exactly communism has infiltrated our country.

In loan out one of my
Black book on Communism, the blue print for spreading communism, Rules for Radicals, some Levin stuff, and asking them to share my Unintended Consequences, requesting that UC, be read after their research.

These Dairy’s are HUGE, thousands of milk cows, their own fleet of milk trucks, 10s of thousands of land in hay and other crops. At one point they said they just wanted to be left alone! Mam, that’s all any of us truly want.

As we were leaving the eldest whom sat to my right asks, what are we gonna due. I said we’re gonna kill every last one of them. The media, Communist educators, deep state players, are our enemy won’t be an re education camps, these are seriously infected people. Need culling.

And guess what ladies,,,,,we’re gonna have to do it all over again in another 100 yrs.

    Irk

I keep hearing that Facebook is dying and the metaverse hasn’t really taken off yet. Zuckerberg is only in 10th place now on the Bloomberg Billionaire Index and is in danger of losing his top ten ranking, so perhaps he’s not quite as influential as formerly. Heh.
    https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/03/mark-zuckerbergs-net-worth-fell-30-billion-as-meta-shares-tank.html

    • Vanderleun February 27, 2022, 3:05 PM

Well that depends on how many billion you start the day with.

  • Double on Tundra February 27, 2022, 11:58 AM

Well I’ve watched the first half. Cue it up around the 44 minute mark to hear how good his intentions are and that his business model is to make people happy.

What zipped through my mind at that point was the arguments that people make in favor of gun control. “If people are harmed because of guns, clearly someone needs to control guns, right?”

There’s a no argument for banning guns that doesn’t apply completely to banning Facebook.

  • Sid V February 27, 2022, 12:47 PM

He seems pretty lifelike for a ****ing robot.

  • jd February 27, 2022, 1:09 PM

Zuckerberg did not even invent social media. A man named Michael McKibbon did. Learn
    all about it on http://www.aim4truth.org.

  • Ray Van Dune February 27, 2022, 2:11 PM

Don’t have the time to waste, and I’m surprised the host does… maybe he’s not as smart as everyone says, and that goes for either of them.

    • Vanderleun February 27, 2022, 2:30 PM

      “Either of them.” Either?

    • Mike Austin February 27, 2022, 2:58 PM

      Dear Ray:

So: You “Don’t have the time to waste…” Good for you! Who does these days? Except…you slander Gerard without listening to the video he offered up. It was shared only to elicit discussion. If you won’t or can’t listen, then how about not commenting either on it or on Gerard? I’m just giving you advice so that you can avoid looking like a public fool.

Unless of course you enjoy that status.

  • gw February 27, 2022, 2:20 PM

Important, yes. Genius, yes. Civilizational termite, yes. In the video, he claims to believe in free speech the importance of human interaction, and biblical inspiration while actually censoring free speech, creating a platform for avatars and virtual reality, and speaking as if he is helping create a new Eden. Surreal interview.

  • The Distributist February 27, 2022, 2:26 PM

Gonna stick some knitting needles in my eyes, and kindling sticks in my ears, prior to watching/listening… always important to do show-prep…

  • H (science denier) February 27, 2022, 2:56 PM

Paraphrasing Pericles: Just because you do not take an interest in Metaface doesn’t mean Metaface won’t take an interest in you.

    • Mike Austin February 27, 2022, 3:00 PM

      That was Trotsky.

“You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.”

      • H (science denier) February 28, 2022, 4:53 AM

Pericles got there first, in regard to politics, but if it makes you feel better quoting a rat-bastard commie, hey, whatever dood.

        • Mike Austin February 28, 2022, 7:34 AM

And Trotsky got there first, in regards to war. Since that quote from Trotsky—he mentioned war; Pericles, politics—is more common than quotes from Pericles, I thought I would lend you a hand. And the thanks I get is complaining! You can stop whining now.

I watched the “Social Dilemma” segment, and skipped around on some of the others. I notice that Z did not refute any argument presented to him. He talked around the point, and made a bee line for Feelings. “I don’t want to design a product that makes people angry.” Z sounds like he wants to be the “Emperor of Nice”

I have a facebarf account. I keep it only because of the cycling scene here in So Cal. One of our club members, Penny, has been targeted by the facebarf censors for constant monitoring. If she posts anything more controversial than “have a nice day” she gets booted for a month, with no questions answered. Her crime? memes that insult Ragmouth Joe the bumblefuck.

She got busted for posting a meme mocking that Smollet creep who tried to pull the hate crime hoax. The post wasn’t crude, or obscene. It certainly did not insult homosexuals, or the holy dark ones. No threats. No foul language. But apparently, Penny’s posts make people angry, so she’s on permanent probation. The irony here is that I have pitched some nasty flame balls across facebarf, and never taken any grief for it. But that was a long time ago. Now, I post nothing but links to my blog, and cycling events. I rarely respond to posts, and then only to people I know. Sometimes those “memory from five years ago” contain some really radioactive stuff. I never share it.

So Lex is an extremely bright man – probably with a touch of Aspergers. Zuck is a Robot. A Jewish robot cuz he talks with his hands. A few comments, Lex asks about online bullying and Zuck mentions that his daughters fight… At least later it appears that he tries hard with his daughters – but like the rest of the secular world today – the most important issue is only physical heath. Which is why if AI can’t solve bullying – oh well.
Like other fools, technology will bring us together, ask Ukraine how that is working out.
I’m not against technology, but when a robot creates it and says that we will have better relations with people through technology – not in real life – we have a problem.
Kudos to Lex for only doing interviews with live people – not through a screen. Btw, go back a year and watch him interview his father. You will see some of Lexs’ Asperger tendencies – but also a great love for his father.
