Trump Trick and Trump Treat

Last night I went to the nearby sports bar for a burger and the 7th game of the World Series. While Houston disappointed, Trump did not. Right in the middle of the game, the following opening salvo of the ReElectTrump season was heard. INCOMING!

It was tight. It was right. It was up to the moment and it was being shown during the 7th game of the World Series.  At first, I was surprised by this stealth opening of the Election Series but then simply admired this use of the very social media of the one game of the baseball season with the most viewers. I thought, “His election team is already up and out of the blocks while the Democrats are still in the locker room either snapping each other’s jockstraps or whittling their strapons. Probably both at the same time.”

“His election team is already up and out of the blocks while the Republicans…”

    You mean Democrats, no?

Fixed from my tunnel vision. Thanks, Tim.

    Fukkin A spot on, mate!

Trump is the Godzilla Monster that ate DC and the meaner it gets the better.

I am currently listening to Death Metal versions of Trump memes. Bring it!

The real danger here is voter fraud. Apparently you can grow votes now and Harvest them long after the polls closed. Not cool. We need paper ballots and voter I.D. before the election.

Went to eat a late lunch after bowling (Candlepin, the real bowling, not the other one…) and was wearing my Trump 20/20 hat. The older gentleman at the next table and I exchanged high signs and had a brief conversation on the President, and the politics of 2020 in the state we live in; Massachusetts.
My lady, a kind soul, stepped over to a nearby table and patted the young woman sitting there on the shoulder; “Sorry if they are making you upset”. “I’ll be alright”, the young woman replied; her gentleman companion simply grimaced.

Wearing my MAGA/Trump 2020 hats out and about get me involved in almost as many spontaneous discussions as when walking the dog. I find that the Pro-Trump people are on the whole much better informed; the few, the very few, that don’t like the chapeau and say anything don’t have a deep well of well reasoned arguments. “Orange Man bad” really does seem to be the extent of it.

The winning will not stop. He has the best of the best on his and our team.
It is only going to get better.
The left is going to fall off the ledge real soon, they just don’t know that they are standing on it.

I hear that Twitter is banning all political ads as of Nov. 15.

OK, I’m off on business trips to Arkansas then Chicago. I think I have my shut them down remarks perfected if someone insists on having a Trump discussion. Here is my line: “If they don’t remove Trump from office, he’ll just get re-elected.” Another version: “If Trump gets impeached but not removed, he’ll just get re-elected.”

In using this, I am correct, and it won’t come back to me as having made a bad prediction. It is a dem congresscritter quote. It doesn’t tip my hand and it has a layer or two of nuance. Also, irony.

    What do you think?

    “Ankle holster w/ a Glock 17.”
    ====================
No, a Sig P290! No Tupperware like a Glock!
Or are you one of those “You can drop a Glock in the mud…” types??
We Sig owners prefer to keep hold of our firearms, not drop them in the mud!

  • Snakepit Kansas November 2, 2019, 2:01 PM

Codger, the SigP290 is little toy sized gun. It would be good only as a point blank defense weapon. Good luck on hitting anything beyond 15 yards. Yes, most gun fights are both very close and very violent. I have a couple Sigs, but day to day carry is the ugly-as-sin and venerable Glock 17. They never break and always go bang when you squeeze the hate switch.
