True but Forbidden 7

Good morning kids.

Monday and the start of the new week so here we go. While no one was looking, they apparently held the Academy Awards last night which reminded me of how Woody Allen described awards ceremonies in Annie Hall – “the greatest fascist dictator award.” That captures the essence of what passes for our self-described cultural elite. Blinkered, philistine, pig-ignorance wrapped up in blind rage that borders on, and occasionally crosses over, the line into psychosis. Essentially, it was three or so hours of revolting, sub-literate meat puppets vomiting up anti-American, anti-Trump diatribes that make the eye chart at the DMV eminently more fascinating and informative; and woe to anyone who dares voice a contrary opinion. That is, if anyone is allowed to do so.

Most execrable of the lot was Spike Lee, the bespectacled, homunculus who is so utterly embalmed in racism and hatred (I had the distinct displeasure of running in the same circle as he at the NYU Film School in the late 70s/early 80s and far from mellowing with age, his madness is even more pronounced and strident than ever before). Sporting a purple zoot-suit from the loss leaders in the Huggy Bear collection, he took to the podium to exhort Americans to boot Trump from office in 2020. One wonders to whom he is speaking since those he is attempting to appeal to he regards as dog excrement on the bottom of his shoe. It never ceases to amaze, disappoint and disgust me that the blood-libeling of this nation, and its founding is so engrained in creatures such as Lee, when the very people, party and movement he supports are the ones responsible for all the evils and “original sins” as it were that have been inflicted upon his fellow American blacks and others. Yes, hate crimes and lynchings are even more prevalent now than in the Jim Crow era that Jussie Smollett had to fake one just to draw the attention of the American people to them. That said, the uttering of his name was about the only thing you didn’t hear last night. Funny, that. Let’s move on before I throw up, not that much of the following won’t have the same emetic effect. The Morning Report – 2/25/19

Ikebana, Discover More About the World of Japanese Flower Arranging “The Way of Flowers” is a delicate, refined practice where nature becomes the foundation of sculptural art pieces that are known for their simplicity. By using branches, blossoms, and leaves to build up shape and character, ikebana can be used to express emotions.

While ikebana reached its peak in the 16th century, Japanese flower arranging is seeing a comeback, and more and more people are taking up the practice. Today, ikebana is appreciated for the attention to color, form, and lines that allow practitioners to express their creativity. Traditional elements like bamboo grass and plum branches are often mixed with local, seasonal fauna to create new, innovative arrangements.

“When I was a Marxist, I did not hold my opinions as a matter of faith, but I did have the conviction that a sort of unified field theory might have been discovered. The concept of historical and dialectical materialism was not an absolute, and it did not have any supernatural element, but it did have its messianic element in the idea that an ultimate moment might arrive, and it most certainly had its martyrs and saints and doctrinaires and (after a while) its mutually excommunicating rival papacies. It also had its schisms and inquisitions and heresy hunts. I was a member of a dissident sect, which admired Rosa Luxemburg and Leon Trotsky, and I can say definitely that we also had our prophets…Those of us who had a sort of rational alternative for religion had reached a terminus which was comparably dogmatic.” — Arthur Koestler wrote in the seminal “The God That Failed”

Viewers Starting To Doubt Objectivity Of Reporter With ‘KAMALA 2020’ Face Tattoo   The journalist and on-air personality has been assigned to cover Kamala Harris’s 2020 campaign and unveiled the brand new face tattoo on Wednesday morning as she reported live on one of Harris’s rallies. “I’m starting to wonder if she might have a slight bias,” said one viewer as he watched the reporter fawn over Kamala Harris’s clothes. “I mean, everyone has a little inherent prejudice or bias, but this seems like it might cross a line.”

If We Do Not Stop This NOW, Civil War Is INEVITABLE   We either stop this — and do it now — or the spiraling out of control that has taken over this nation is going to lead to one group or another picking up guns and using them — not on one person at a time, but in a ginned-up and unwarranted rage.  Those who they intend to use them against will, justifiably, fight back — and, as soon as the rest of us figure out that this is not a one-off but rather a seismic shift  that fighting back will become offensive and preemptive in nature rather than defensive. That’s civil war. Probably not the way you think of it, ala 1860s-style — but rather the dirty sort ala Rwanda.

The sort of civil war where you walk to your mailbox and some jackwad assassinates you from a quarter-mile away without warning. Your son, who watched your head explode while trying to get the mail, then goes hunting for whoever did it — or whoever he thinks did it.

That’s how it starts and once it starts it will be very hard to stop until a huge percentage of the population is dead and our economy has and political system has been destroyed.

A Plague Of Nonsense   Ideological government, either the hard type like the Soviets or the soft sort like we have in America, needs enemies. More specifically, it needs examples. In order to reinforce the rightness of the civic religion, they need to demonstrate the wrongness of heresy. That means the demand for heretics is constant. Finding heretics one at a time is expensive, so it soon becomes a bulk operation. They cast the net, pull in some trouble makers, throw away the small ones and keep the useful ones.

Social media has proven to be excellent fishing waters for this sort of operation. The need to preen and signal, means left-wing fanatics flood these sites. They become chum, attracting the sorts who enjoy criticizing Progressive piety. Every once in a while, a heretic gets caught up in the nets and is hauled aboard for defenestration. It’s no surprise that doxing, the tactic of leftists where they harass heretics at their work and school, almost always starts on social media. Swim near the trawlers, risk getting caught in the net.

Vegan bride bans meat-eaters, calls them ‘murderers’ –   The 20-year-old Australian woman wrote in a now-viral post in a Facebook group called “Vegan Revolution” that she banned all omnivores from her wedding ceremony, including her own family. “Some family members were told they are not invited to my wedding because we don’t want to host murderers,” she wrote. “Our wedding is supposed to be one of the happiest days of our lives.” The woman said the banned family members include her mother and two cousins who were originally slated to be bridesmaids.

Woman Wants Leather Handbag Made Out of the Skin on Her Amputated Leg   “I know it is a bit odd and gross, and some might think I’m crazy, but it’s my leg and I can’t bare the thought of it being left to rot somewhere,” Joan wrote in her message to Sewport. “It’s part of me and I want to keep it. I know it’s gross, but people keep their baby’s umbilici chords and have relative’s ashes on display, so it’s not really that weird if you think about it.”

Legislators Propose Replacing All Spacecraft With High-Speed Trains By 2030  “We are wasting so much rocket fuel to generate the thrust necessary to leave Earth’s orbit when we could just build a train track all the way to Mars or Jupiter,” said a lobbyist for the train industry. “And just think about how pleasant a ride from Earth to Mars would be, coasting along the space tracks at 200 miles per hour for the next 193 years.”

Swedish Feminists Demand State Ban on ‘Dangerous’ Sex Robots     “Why are men willing to pay tens of thousands of dollars for a robot that obeys their smallest command?” the feminists asked rhetorically. “A female robot cannot say no to something that the man wants, if she is not programmed to do so”, the feminists complained.

My Restaurant Was the Greatest Show of Excess You’ve Ever Seen, and It Almost Killed Me    The community of people I surrounded myself with ate and drank like Vikings. It worked well in my twenties. It worked well in my thirties. It started to unravel when I was 40. I couldn’t shut it off. All of a sudden, there was no bottle of wine good enough for me. I’m drinking, like, literally the finest wines of the world. Foie gras is not exciting. Truffles are meh. I don’t want lobster; I had it yesterday. What am I looking for, eating and drinking like this every day? I started asking myself questions about alcoholism.

We Must Defend Free Thought   It also matters because the people who are shutting down open discourse are sadistic bullies and we cannot let them win. While many of them actually enjoy causing others distress—a frightening realisation—we must also remember that they are a small minority. And while the rest of us may never match their vindictiveness and underhanded tactics, we do have numbers on our side. All people—whether they are apolitical, conservative, libertarian, centrist, moderate or progressive-left—can join together to oppose this new threat to free thought.

To do so, you can start by speaking and writing plainly, and with raw honesty and courage. Share your inner thoughts and support those around you who speak frankly. You should write well-reasoned arguments for your positions and spread them widely. Don’t be afraid of criticism. Criticism helps us grow. Have the confidence to know that there is nothing more penetrating than the human imagination and the human capacity for reason. From the most dazzling scientific and medical breakthroughs, to works of art that transform people’s lives—all of these first emerge from the interior worlds of individuals. That individual may be unknown, unrecognised, underprivileged and lacking in confidence. That individual may be you.

Were one jaded enough it, might even seem conceivable that the Davos, Switzerland pukes were attempting to gin-up a population pruning event similar to World War l. Now everything gets viewed through the “Who Benefits” lens. Anyone who believes any branch, at any level of govt is going to be on the side of the proles, is seriously deluded.

Never saw more’n about 6 seconds worth of that horrifying monstrosity and that was while flying through the channels while putting my boots on. But I saw enough to wonder why any sane, semi-literate human being would choose to expose their self to such a thing. I guess I answered my own question. No wonder this bitch is going down. It’s 80% top heavy with retards.

I demand Justice for him too.
I hope he likes prison food.
“justice” is not vindication. Don’t they realize that?

When the Big Bang Theory first came on TV I watched it a few times. I finally decided that is how idiots think intelligent people behave and quit watching. I am delighted that I have been vindicated.

Interesting that the author of the article on ikebana can’t tell the difference between fauna and flora. “Traditional elements like bamboo grass and plum branches are often mixed with local, seasonal fauna to create new, innovative arrangements.” I have yet to see an ikebana arrangement with all the animal life present in the region at a specific point in time mixed with the plants, but I have to agree it would be “new” and “innovative.” Methinks Miss Olive should advertise her editorial services online.

  • Grizzly February 25, 2019, 6:54 PM

What PA Cat said. When I was reading that paragraph I was wondering what kind of fauna might be used in an ikebana arrangement. Perhaps the kind that the local taxidermist might provide. Mixing bamboo and flowers with the deer’s antlers provides all sorts of possibilities.

  • PA Cat February 25, 2019, 11:15 PM

Apropos of ikebana fauna, Grizzly said, “Perhaps the kind that the local taxidermist might provide.”
It appears that taxidermists are now busy turning dead animals of various species into drones, I kid you not. In one case, the guy had his dead pet turned into a drone; in the other instances, people used other animals that died of natural causes, so as far as we know, people are not intentionally killing animals to make them into drones (PETA take note).

I’m thinking the Ratcopter would be perfect for letting loose in a session of Congress, which is full of humanoid drones anyway.

Justice is what they want? Hehehehe… justice is what they’re gonna get. Not as they imagined, of course, but justice nonetheless.

  • GoneWithTheWind February 26, 2019, 6:25 AM

Just understand that if Jussie actually gets justice/jail time, that too will be spun as racist and homophobic. We will be deluged with “free Jussie” memes.

  • Former Lurker February 26, 2019, 7:14 AM

So… why didn’t the lady that wanted a purse made out of her leg just go to a taxidermist? I bet it would be cheaper.
