Zombie Jamboree: This Just In from the Land of the Dead Souls

Above all else, confusion reigns
And though I ask, no one explains
My eunuch friend has been and gone
He said that I must soldier on
And though the Ferris wheel spins ’round
My tongue it seems has run the ground
And croaks as my befuddled brain
Shines on brightly, quite insane

Procol Harum

If your befuddled brain has lost its way after viewing the above, this chaser will set you right.

I never understood the point of this stuff. Outfits always look horrendous – no sane person would possess them. Ho’s look starved, angry, needing punched in the face. And what’s with that walk, one foot crossing over the other? And then those 2 cux come out with masks on. lol

The more I learn about the people in this country the more convinced I become that the whole thing needs to be flushed – HARD!

    “we tripped a coupla dagos,
    did cartwheels across the floor”

  • Auntie Analogue September 29, 2020, 3:12 PM

Those so-called “designers” seem to have rummaged through the decayed contents of Carmen Miranda’s dumpster and thrown the bits willy-nilly onto scowling anorexics.

    Fierce!

The models are getting paid well to walk up and down the aisle. What’s the problem? Nobody takes it seriously.

    Beauty’s where you find it
Not just where you bump and grind it
    Soul is in the musical
That’s where I feel so beautiful
    Magical, life’s a ball
So get up on the dance floor

    Vogue, vogue
    VOGUE, VOGUE

    Madonna Ciccone
    “Vogue”

    Vapid, Vapid
    Vapid, Vapid…

That’s some funny lines up there.
They look like pubescent [He said pubes!] boys trying on Aunt Mildred’s clothes.

Media’s latest whopper: Biden paid $300k in taxes on a $1mil income.
That’s 1 dollar in tax for every 3 dollars earned.
    Yeah, right.
    But Trump only paid $750.
    Come on man.
Now ask yourself, who would you want in control of the country, a man that mounts a very successful defense upon the most criminal enterprise the world has ever known, the IRS. Or a cuck/pedo that lies so blatantly and broadly that you can’t believe anyone in his entire family tree?

  • ghostsniper September 29, 2020, 5:25 PM

And that NYT piece on Trumps taxes reads like it was written by children, for very ignorant adults.

Um, costumes from the musical Pippin, crossed with traditional Balkan clothing, in flow-y early 70s Harlequin patch-work skirts, the fabric taken (as Auntie A above rightly observes) from Carmen Miranda’s dumpster? It’s just so fricking goofy. Why? And why are the “designers” the only one wearing masks– what’s the point, whilst standing in a crowd? FFS. I want my cleansing fire, please.

I’ll play contrarian. Fashion designers always display extreme- over the top costumes in these shows. This one is no exception. But seeing women dressed like women was a welcome relief. The dresses were costumes, and kind of silly, yes. But they were extraordinarily feminine costumes. Real girl clothes on real (albeit skinny) girls. No gender bending intersectional Mao suits, no P.I.G.s (Persons of Indeterminate Gender) on the runway.
I, myself, am an inveterate slob. I feel over dressed if I’m wearing recently washed jeans, and a shirt with buttons. And the huge majority of the females I see are running around wearing the same crap that I wear. The lockdown shit seemed to give them all a reason to abandon any pretense of looking good.
As a final note, D&G took some serious heat a few years back for saying children are better off with a mother and a father, than with a same-sex couple. In their world that was a bold, and dangerous stance. Credit where it’s due.

Someone had a little too much fun in the prints and brocade section of the fabric store!

I love the comments but I kind of side with jwm. I’ve dated women in a lot of different sizes and I’ve never been bothered by anything except obesity and I hate anything tight on women who are sporting love handles, belly roles and gelatinous thighs and arms. If I were King of the World that group (both genders) would be on the endangered list.

But the Skinny Minnies in this reveal look pretty good, I just wish to God they would smile or flirt a little. Those mugs look like something you might see on Open Casket Day at the model school.

Dolce & Gabanna seem to have been taken over by the Quilt Cult.
