No Time for Moonbats: The Phrase That Pays

Every so often in moving around Chico I wade hip-deep through the swamp of moonbats that any California college automatically generates around itself.

Down at the Saturday Farmers Market, there have been the inevitable moonbat card tables of their communist causes. One of them is staffed by insane people who want to convert others into their strange “Contrails are killing us” conspiracy church. They are easy to bypass.

Not so the “Stop the Republicans’ Power Grab” table manned by some of the worst socialist nomenklatura in town. Last Saturday they had one of their bipedal insects standing in front of the entrance willing to tell anyone how wonderful Gavin Newsom really is. He’d tell you this as the smoke sodden stench of a burned to the bone California blooms in the wind.

He stopped me and started to blather. I needed to buy a loaf of bread and some fresh peaches before spending an hour at the range and had no time for moonbats. I held up a hand in a brief pause in his blather, looked into his eyes, and said (I don’t know why),

“You don’t want to be someone we remember.”

Shut him up and increased his blink rate.

“You don’t want to be someone we remember.” That is, by far, the best response to those people I’ve ever read. I can’t wait to try it out.

  • Kevin in PA September 13, 2021, 8:51 AM

    Excellent!
I’m sure the message was way over his head, but it really has a nice ring to it….subtle.

    • gwbnyc September 13, 2021, 4:28 PM

      it’s over mine.

  • James ONeil September 13, 2021, 9:01 AM

    Remembering. Oh I’ll remember them.

Being a wee bit more than a few months older than even Vanderleun, I’ve been to quite a few wakes over the years. Invariably someone notes, concerning the deceased; “He had a good run.”, followed by a silent moment when every one tips a glass.

If I attend a moonbats wake (Far too many of my friends over the years produced moonbat children.) I’ll expect I’ll think instead, even if I, out of kindness, don’t say aloud: “He meant well but he was Bat Sh_ _ Crazy.”

    • gwbnyc September 13, 2021, 4:30 PM

per an ancient piece in Nat’l Lampoon, things not to say at a wake-

“I think I saw hin move”

  • PA Cat September 13, 2021, 10:17 AM

Apropos of the Chico moonbat: 1) was the “bipedal insect” duly masked and gowned per CDC “guidance,” or was he barefaced like Newsom at the French Laundry? 2) If the latter, I would have demanded to see his vaxx passport, and if he couldn’t produce it, I would have phoned the Chico office of the California State Health Department [DuckDuckGo even provides the number: (530) 895-6711] on the spot to report a COVID superspreader on the loose.

Aw gee Gerard, now that poor little Libtard is going to have nightmares and be constantly wetting the bed in his “safe space!”
That’s a great line you gave him- especially for a spur of the moment response.

One of my favorites was staring into a Libtard’s eyes and looking really concerned, then saying “Holy crap, I can actually see Satan in your eyes!”
Or- “Wow, I can see it in your eyes- you don’t have a soul.”

Have you voted on the Newsom recall yet? Even if you didn’t, you might have already voted without knowing it! That’s right- unsurprisingly, voter fraud is happening (and being documented) in sunny Commiefornia!

    https://thelibertydaily.com/widespread-voter-fraud-in-california-reported-its-been-happening-all-morning/

And THIS is why a recall for Newsom is necessary- https://redstate.com/jenniferoo/2021/09/12/this-is-why-we-recall-because-newsom-will-watch-california-burn-to-prove-climate-change-n442073

AND because democrats have destroyed CA- a once-thriving state and turned it into a 3rd world sh*thole.-https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/recall-save-california-newsom-elites-destroy-state-victor-davis-hanson

Even more reason to oust the Demtards- when they get SO desperate that they racially attack a black gubernatorial candidate, labeling him as a “BLACK-SKINNED WHITE SUPREMACIST!”

Two days ago marked exactly 1000 days since I moved out of Commiefornia. And the quality of life has increased by that same number. Gerard, I think you’d also be much happier living in another state.
To sum it up, Johnny Winter sang what’s pretty much become my “theme song”-

“Did you ever take a look to see who’s left around
Everyone I thought was cool is six feet under ground
They tried to get me lots of times
And now they’re coming after you
I got out and now I’m here to say
Maybe you can get out too

    I’m still alive and well
    Still alive and well
Every now and then I know it’s kind of hard to tell
But I’m still alive and well

    • William Quick September 14, 2021, 7:16 AM

Today is exactly 5 years since I rolled across the Bay Bridge heading out of San Francisco after 35 years living there. I am now in the Midwest, in a small town on a nice lake about 70 miles east of Chicago. I do miss some things about The City (the food, mostly), but I have no regrets. Every thing I’ve seen since makes me think I got out just in time.

Biggest change in quality of life for me? Putting on a gun as reflexively as I put my wallet and phone in my pocket whenever I leave my home.

      • EX-Californian Pete September 15, 2021, 1:43 PM

Congrats on the wise move, William.
And I’d bet the gun is for “non-two-legged” types of varmints.

    “I’ve got a little list,
    of people won’t be missed…”

    Gilbert and Sullivan isnit?

    • Jack September 14, 2021, 7:23 AM

I’ve got a list of them too and I really don’t care if they are missed or not.

  • EX-Californian Pete September 13, 2021, 11:51 AM

Hmmm. My previous post here seems to be taking quite a while to show up- maybe because it had several links in it?

“You don’t want to be someone we remember.”

    That was “gangsta.” Definitely.

  • Bill in Tennessee September 13, 2021, 12:42 PM

I’m stealing that fair and square for my own use.

  • ghostsniper September 13, 2021, 12:45 PM

My fuse is way too short for such a thing. It’s about 1/16″ long, and the fuse itself is 1/4″ in diameter. Yeah, short. Almost no fuse at all. Direct drive.

There’s supposedly a real nice farmers market over in Bloomington but I have never been to it. Bloomington is a major college town with all the baggage that comes with it. I’ve read the highlights of the Bloomington Farmers Market many times. I really would like to go there. I’ve been to monay of the smaller farmers markets that are scattered around this part of the country and without exception have enjoyed all of them and have spent a fair amount of money at them.

But if I went to the BFM I would most likely spend a whole lot more money that all the other farmers markets put together.

    Bail money.
    Remember.
    Short fuse.

I’ve read the stories. I’ve seen the pictures. I’ve viewed the videos. I dare not go there. I have been forewarned a plenty. I take such “gut instinct” warnings seriously because I know my limitations.

  • ghostsniper September 13, 2021, 12:46 PM

wtf is monay? I guess it made sense to my fingers when I was typing what I thought was “many”.

  • Tom Hyland September 13, 2021, 1:24 PM

Monay was that magnificent impressionist painter from France.

  • Gordon Scott September 13, 2021, 2:34 PM

Rebecca de Mornay is that green eyed number from Risky Business and the remake of And God Created Woman.

Word spreads fast! I think this pithy little phrase is worthy of some talented meme artist to run with it.

I will use it for any vax pusher or census peddler crossing my threshold.

Brilliant! This should be widely adopted. Make them think.

There are not enough Moonbats here in Oklahoma City to reach critical mass. Folks here are hostile to public displays of mental illness.

    • ghostsniper September 14, 2021, 4:41 AM

Just wait a bit Mike. As pressure increases the moonbats will make themselves known. It’s happening everywhere, some places slower than others. People that you have always thought as grounded and logical will start to reveal their true inner core of evil. My wife and I are extreme rural and have very little direct contact with others but even we are stunned at the revelations of insanity that are going on. Just this morning John Venet and I discussed an example of this insanity that we both recently became aware of. There doesn’t seem to be any reasoning behind this stuff. Families and friends are tearing each other apart. Shredded.

      • Mike Austin September 14, 2021, 6:28 AM

Nope. Not here in Oklahoma. Been here 19 years. The Moonbats were always known and catalogued—and safely ignored. Ever hear of Antifa or BLM riots here? Wonder why?

Naturally the current political climate in the US allows those already infected to become more vocal. But in Oklahoma the numbers don’t change. Families are certainly being pulled apart, but that is because things that were once tolerated are no longer so—not even among families and friends, as you have noted. Civil War is coming, and no one wants to be behind enemy lines or living among the crazies.

      • EX-Californian Pete September 14, 2021, 10:13 AM

Well, families and friends may be tearing each other apart in the “moonbat areas”, but not in my part of the world. As more & more Libtard insanity surfaces in the news, my friends and neighbors continue bond closer and show increasing unity.
It’s kind of like how everyone across the USA were bonded and unified after 911- united for a cause.

Don’t be afraid to go to liberal college towns’ farmer’s markets. Not only will you find great produce and products and support local farmers, but you will have the chance to troll the liberals. At the beginning of the O’s presidency, my daughter and I had great fun posing with a life size cut out of Moochelle and taking a selfie with it at her college town’s market. The liberal who had brought it was so excited that someone appreciated her efforts, until she realized that we were making unflattering comments about the yeti and making cootie fingers behind the yeti’s head. We laughed our heads off and wished her a good day. It’s a great day when you can tick off a flaming lib.

    • ghostsniper September 14, 2021, 8:06 AM

I find these creatures detestable and there is nothing that would make me want to congregate with them other than the chance to cause shear annihilation on my terms. Taunting them is no benefit to me. There’s plenty of fresh, unmolested heirloom produce with in 2 miles of here.

I think a more realistic x-ray would show a serpent wrapping itself around the globe. These “demonic serpents” are not as stupid as we may like to think. Just look at how much ground they have gained in in their 8 month blitzkrieg. I realize that they have been prepping for 110 years but you have to face the fact that they are moving fast, are not taking any prisoners and can smell victory. Please remember that they want to cleanse the earth of anyone who wants to exercise liberty, free will or anything Christian.

    • Jack September 14, 2021, 7:40 AM

Joe, ya don’t need an x-ray or MRI to see it. It and they are everywhere and we unfortunately many of us know many of them as family, friends and neighbors. And you are correct in your summation of their desire and mission and although some of them aren’t quite aware of just what they’re seeking most of them are on the fast track to that realization.

I’m an old man and I’ve got a debilitating illness that will simply prevent me from joining any pro-active offensives when the SHTF but I will make good commies out of them if they step beyond my threshold.

      • Joe Krill September 14, 2021, 10:31 AM

Jack. You get two thumbs up. Regarding you being old—the pen is mightier than the sword. Keep on writing. Put a torch on the end of your pen and let her burn. The more flak that they throw at you only means that you are over the target. All my best. Joe

    • Kevin in PA September 14, 2021, 7:49 AM

      Joe,
      It’s a squid not a serpent.

      • Joe Krill September 14, 2021, 10:34 AM

Kevin, I have seen the squid depiction but I believe the serpent is more synonymous with the group that wants to rule the world. All my best. Joe

A friend has another way to silence someone she has no patience for.
She takes off a sock and hands it to them.
