Anyone know the current situation in Kabul? 7 people killed show some kinetics but who shot whomst? Propaganda Hajis on Twitter say US shot civilians, then show non-US troops stacking bodies and say it’s US. It just tells me there’s a battle. I can tell the ROE is non-permissive and so the perimeter is a free for all as a result. Possibly 4000 US troops there; I also note UK, French and Polish troops. Probably others. I’d like to know anything of real activities.
My assessment is that Biden has declared chaos and so chaos it will be. The military command authority for the MidEast has his hands tied. This parallels Benghazi in that regard. The slap-dash addition of civilian airliners (proposed) and a proposed widening of the battle are pretty much the White House gaslighting you. All this could’ve been done at the decisive moment, which was 2 or 3 days ago. Biden wants a loss, and doesn’t that remind you of how Obama acted?
Next slide. There is one good thing. Before the Gulf War, and before we took Kandahar in 2001, the MidEast was the third rail. It’s not, anymore. It has shrunk strategically. What will Biden do if the balloon goes up in Taiwan? I think we all know the answer is: nothing decisive.
On a dismal note, if the CENTCOM commander cannot fight to win this battle (and he could’ve) then this shows me that POTUS is not answering his phone. America, if the command authority in DC will not command the troops, you effectively haven’t got a military. They’ve gone into Kabul to throw the match.
Salerno. Gen. Clark landed an amphibious invasion near the toe of the Italian boot (Sep/43) and we came this fucking close to being pushed back into the sea by the Germans. They dropped a secret weapon – an early radio guided bomb – onto a Brit cruiser and sank it in the middle of this battle. Nazi soldiers came close to cutting the invasion beachhead in 2 near the water’s edge. Mark Clark gave a warning order to a navy cruiser to beach itself and evacuate what soldiers it could if given the order to do so.
The navy, the air force, and the army were locked elbows, wading into a barroom fight. Clark went ashore personally to fight the battalions himself. he landed 82nd Airborne paratroopers among the Allied troops on the beach, in a daring low-altitude jump, reinforcing the battle and carrying the day.
That’s how you do that. See the parallels? I was saying, and then I heard a RangerUp talking personality on YouTube say, that if a lowly soldier on the ground is ordered to rescue Americans and critical others at Kabul, then given latitude he’s going to do everything he can to make that happen. He’s going to pull Americans fleeing out of his ass to fulfill his orders, and stop at nothing. Not Biden, though. He’s ordered defeat. And there you have it. When you’re pulling your hair out watching this shitshow, just know the stuff we would do is the stuff we haven’t got orders to do (the military, that is). And, guess whose going to get the blame for this?

Sundance at Last Refuge made a good case for this sh*tshow being deliberate,not necessarily the colossal series of blunders narrative. He believes Biden’s handlers (Obama,et al) wanted that vast array of American arms & equipment to grace the Taliban to cover for Obama’s selling the technology during his reign. It’s Benghazi redux,on a bigger scale. They willingly sacrificed the men at Benghazi to cover their butts;expect the same at Kabul.
What a coincidence 10,000+ Americans are stranded in that sandbox;just in time for Sept 11.
