We’re all going to die.
That is both a fact and a scare tactic. It is a fact because we are mortal, and one day through illness, injury, accident, old age, or a grudge from Hillary Clinton, all of us will die. It is a scare tactic, however, when it is USEFUL for a group or organization to instill fear in another group, thereby making them easier to control. The latter is what we will discuss today.
The Wuhan Virus (yes, I’m a racist, so sue me for using actual medical terminology in identifying the starting point of an infectious disease) is the latest tool for control against a populace. The target audience is YOU. And me. And as many American Citizens as possible. The organizations responsible for this are the Democrat Party and the FraudStream Media. But, of course, I repeat myself…
Every single day, the number of infectious cases rises. Every single day, the death toll increases. In some ways, it reminds me of the old days of the CBS News, when every night they would give the number of wounded and killed in Viet Nam. It was a tool, one to impact and depress morale amongst the citizenry. And it worked, especially with the young and stupid. Damn, there I go, repeating myself again.
The problem we have now, is we must deal with the OLD and stupid. Those who swallow whole the message from the FraudStream Media. Rampant speculation. Terrifying musical stings under blood-red headline graphics on screen. Literally unhinged reporters and anchors, coming up with incredible idiotic “predictions” that they peddle as inevitable fact. Screaming heads, because talking heads doesn’t adequately describe them anymore, shouting down anyone who dares disagree with them in the slightest. Saturation coverage of collapsing markets, celebrity infections, closing schools, cancelled events, and politicization of nothing more than a heavy chest cold that could turn into pneumonia for those of elder years and compromised immune systems.
People who should know better, who DO know better, are weaponizing a virus. Not to kill. But to instill terror in a populace already dumbed down, cowed and scolded by an “education” (see also: indoctrination) system, an “entertainment” (see also: propaganda) media, and a “news” (see also: lying liars who lie) media. They have, for decades now, reprogrammed the zeitgeist of an entire nation….
It’s an “electronic attack” on your sensibilities.
If you don’t pay your electric bill and they shut off the juice in short order the chaos you are subjecting yourself to will disappear, just like that.

The media is holding a gun to my family’s head and screaming “Panic NOW, dammit!” And the ultimate act of panic they are demanding is of course to not re-elect Trump. Or should I say “ultimate act of contrition”, for in their eyes, we have sinned. My family was in no danger of voting for Trump anyway (me excepted) because they are faithful worshippers at the Shrine of the New York Times and the Chapel of CNN. But they were relatively happy sheep of those flocks, and they are my charges to protect, even if I can not enlighten them.
But now they are miserable and scared. Without getting into too much detail, I will just say that we are on an extended vacation abroad, living comfortably in a modest vacation home of our own, in a locale that is free of Coronavirus. Thus we have decided to extend our holiday to let things settle down at home in the US. One branch of our family, with young children, is there at home still, not being of an age that allows them the luxury we enjoy of not working! And they are scared too.
As the patriarch (ha!) I suffer in my own way. I suffer from skepticism at the edicts I hear from the Shrine and the Chapel. And I suffer shame as I help my little flock follow those edicts, because it is a pointless gamble not to, and they are not strong enough to walk off the beaten path, even if I am. But I despise the Cardinals of Propaganda and Bishops of Fear for their unaccountable power to make us miserable for their gain, and pleasure.
They have led us into a maze of fear, and tried to destroy our nest egg that gives us some freedom from their reins, but I sense their grip may be slipping. And when the truth finally strips them of their power, and my family is happy again, I will be coming for them. I and many others.
They dare not let Trump be re-elected now. He knows the truth as well as I do, and if he does not bring the fire down on them, by God I will!

What’s the consensus on “Hand By The Neck, Cut Down While Still Living And Entrails Burned Before Their Eyes?” Asking for a friend.
This last Saturday I went bike riding with my club for our seventh year anniversary, and eight years of hosting our monthly ride. We did our breakfast bake tailgate potluck in the morning, and rode the bike path at Huntington Beach. Even though we had a small turnout we had a great day. We ate drank smoked and cruised. That evening my wife and I walked over to our local Mexican restaurant for dinner. It’s a small family owned place. They go the extra mile on hospitality, and they make dinner fun. People were celebrating birthdays with all the over-the-top fanfare that the restaurant staff puts on, and everyone was enjoying great food and having a good time. Well, the powers that be in Orange County are about to shut down all the restaurants. They’re doing it in Los Angeles also. Nobody is gonna die from the TV-PANIC virus, but a lot of hard working people are going to go broke. I believe I could watch the TV news departments lynched, and hanged in public without a qualm.
Another comment just because I clicked on a few minutes of radio, saw some TV while having lunch with my wife, and made a check-in at Ace. Oh, and I looked at Facebarf, and Next Door.
Shit is volatile as hell. Two days ago, and even yesterday the chatter on FB and ND seemed to indicate a groundswell of common sense. Nobody was buying into the black death scenario that the media is selling. Everyone posting seemed to realize the foolishness of the supermarket panic. But today the state and local governments have taken it upon themselves to perpetuate an even deeper and more intrusive reach into lunacy. They’re willy-nilly shutting down everything for the duration. The thin ice of calm I saw the last two days is cracking. The sewage feeders who get it all from msnbc & cnn have taken the field, and it’s pissin’ matches everywhere. You know, when the leftoids were using the slogan, “By any means necessary” they were not kidding. Russia, Russia went flat on them. The TV-Panic Virus is getting deadly serious. I picked a lousy time to give up smokin’ dope. But there’s probably a weed shortage anyway. I don’t want to find out.

Considering that we are in hands of the gubmint, now, in many more ways than we want to be, and maybe in awhile in many more ways, I am pausing to reflect of whomst is seated in the chairs of authority. Gov. Inslee, who has done his level best to add as many homeless people to our state as we can entertain, and who twice has been shat upon by Trump/Pence in the briefing rooms since Friday, is my local overlord. His minions, who yesterday wanted to ban ARs, are now reborn to the laws of the gun and buying any firearms they can get. All of them have put The Environment on hold because: epidemic.
Consider dozens of mayors in my arboreal PNW. Liberal to a fault, and not skilled at anything except possibly social lawfare. Slathering at the mouth to institute emergency measures in their little socialist hellholes. These are the ones who will now nanny us through our pandemic fantasy time.
This is the worst fukn apocalypse I’ve ever experienced. Can I switch channels now?
JWM, we have a neighbor couple where the hubby was debating earlier this week about whether he should cancel the martial arts classes he teaches. Today, in a complete about face, he and wifey loaded up the camper and bugged out of town because quarantine. Not sure where they plan to go exactly, but hope they find a nice place to safely hole up until this is all over.
Apparently (not that I have first-hand knowledge), at the local licensed shops, there is plenty of weed available. For now, anyway. Just fyi.
