Strange Daze: The Bipartisan Mountain

Schools in America: “Oh no! The letter L is shaped too much like a gun. Time to go into lockdown.”
Russia: “Fuck man, I forgot to reset the firing pin in class.”

Why Wokeism Is A Religion – Michael Shellenberger Social media fuels rising and unwarranted certainty, dogmatism, and intolerance of viewpoint diversity and disconfirmatory information. Social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram reward users for sharing information popular with peers, particularly extreme views, and punish users for expressing unpopular, more moderate, and less emotional opinions. This cycle is self-reinforcing. Audiences seek out views that reinforce their own. Experts seek conclusions, and journalists write stories, which affirm the predispositions of their audiences. It may be for these reasons that much of the news media have failed to inform their audiences that there are no racial differences in police killings, that emissions are declining, and that claims of rising trans killings are unscientific.

Conservative Hospice Care – In her prophetic and apocalyptic novel Oryx and Crake (by far her better, and more acute, dystopian novel), Margaret Atwood foretells a future in which titanic corporations simultaneously create the diseases that infect the vast, poorer part of the population, as well as develop the medicines that prolong life, but which are designed never to cure the disease. Instead, the disease and medicines are jointly engineered to keep the patient alive long enough to transfer the patient’s pittance of worldly wealth to the corporations, a transfer timed to be completed around the time of their eventual demise. Denizens of the corporations live in gated communities where every luxury is available (including transplantable organs from designer animals), while the teeming masses outside are consigned to decaying favelas where narcotizing drugs, prostitution, pornography, and inexpensive titillation ensures their acceptance of and compliance to the system.

Whitlock: Mass Formation Psychosis explains Antonio Brown’s meltdown far more than CTE – TheBlaze Antonio Brown is nuts, and his addiction to Instagram and Twitter is making him crazier. He turned a rather routine sideline dispute between himself and Bruce Arians into a career-ending confrontation and walk-off. It’s not all that surprising if you have been following Brown’s descent. In 2018, ESPN’s Jesse Washington wrote a prescient piece on Brown and his love affair with the social media matrix. The article perfectly captures the negative impact social media was having on Brown’s reality and worldview. Brown is the micro. Professional sports are the macro. Social media has eroded the value and integrity of professional sports. It’s done the same thing to corporate media and public discourse. It’s at the root of American division. Social media is a cancer. Mass formation psychosis is just a strand of social media cancer.

Joe Rogan on Instagram: ““Things get to terrible places one tiny step at a time.” The great and powerful @jordan.b.peterson”

Never Yet Melted » Of Course!   Washington state lawmakers introduced a bill this month that would reduce penalties for drive-by shootings with the aim of “promoting racial equity”

The bill, introduced by Democratic Representatives Tarra Simmons and David Hackney ahead of the state’s 2022 legislative session, would eliminate drive-by shootings as the basis for elevating a first-degree murder charge to aggravated murder in the first degree, which carries a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment.

Drive-by shootings were added to the list of aggravating factors for murder charges in 1995. Other aggravating factors include the murder of law enforcement officers, murders committed by inmates while they are behind bars, and murder-for-hire schemes.

Precisely on point, gwb! I saw the Sci-Fi illustration of the CRT enforcer up above, but yesterday I imagined the medical tyranny and CDC guys in well-tailored Nazi uniforms. It’s chilling.

    • Mike Austin January 6, 2022, 1:12 AM

Nice to see a photo of Himmler in his spiffy uniform. I reached for my pistol, just in case. Himmler never received earthly justice. This beast, responsible for the deaths of millions, committed suicide after being captured.

  • Richard January 5, 2022, 12:31 PM

Saw a Robert Malone interview on Church Militant, this morning. He talked about Cancel culture. Ironic, that the guy who developed the technology, holds patents for it, and is warning people to steer clear of it (especially children), must not be allowed to be heard. That, in and of itself, should have been plenty to give any rational person pause and say “whoa, not so fast on these so-called vaccines.”
    Because, you know, SCIENCE!

Regarding Ms Amber Glenn…Wow, don’t know where to begin. Beautiful, extremely talented and the owner of an exquisite pair of legs. Dancers and ice skaters, they never disappoint.

Michael Voris and Church Militant have been speaking the truth for more than a decade. They say and do things that would get them—and has gotten them—banned from all enemy media. And so?

  • OneGuy January 5, 2022, 12:47 PM

We are going to need a lot more ammo and rope, perhaps a guillotine.

  • John Venlet January 5, 2022, 12:49 PM

Well, the lovely gal skating was nice, at least.

    • Mike Austin January 6, 2022, 12:55 PM

Female figure skaters, gymnasts and ballerinas somehow defy gravity and go beyond the constraints of common physiology. Their beauty and their dedication are remarkable.

ice skater gurlz have the best get away stix

  • Casey Klahn January 5, 2022, 2:33 PM

GvD, I did have one very nice dinner date with an ice skater, many, many years ago, at the base of Queen Anne Hill. It will not come as a surprise to anyone, I’m sure, that her legs were a focal point. I wasn’t dead, after all.

On point for the whole post. I’m trying to think strategically about this coming year. The potential for kinetics is high, and the place will be either Taiwan, Ukraine or US soil (CWII). Or, all three (likelyhood high). That a war could break out in Europe over C-19 is less likely, but blood will spill there and it’ll be one-sided with police and military killing the sheeple.

I was saying to my wife, whose been enduring the Herman Wouk Robert Mitchum movies with me (I love them, myself), that the militaries of the world, including Europe, are organizations just as easily pointed inward at their own citizenry, so-called, as at an outside enemy. It is the norm of nations and always has been, except here in the USA. It is not in our military culture to consider our own as enemies. There are strict laws, and as I said it is a cultural part of our nation. I know you can find examples of otherwise, but the case law is explicit that the army cannot be used against the people as a group except under extreme circumstances. The NG is designated for riots for the very reason of the freedom of the people, and in that case it is strictly regulated.

I detailed for my wife how the SS, whom we’ve been watching in the movie, were organized and how that they were not in the German army. All this to say that it is obvious that Biden, Inc., are winnowing the services down to a manageable group who they may be able to persuade to assault the people. I got to thinking, though, that just dividing vaxxed from un-vaxxed is not enough; vaxxed service members are still very capable of patriotism and civic goodness. Prediction: look for the formation, within the military, of special units who will have the task of defeating the citizenry, a-la Europe, Russia, China. I also war-gamed in my head how a general officer could break-away from the army as a patriot, and yet the mechanism for taking his command with him is not there. OTOH, the nasty guard are fully organized to be patriots. Governor, Adjutant general and every swinging Richard in the ranks of 7 states, from Oklahoma to Texas, have already told the DOD to pound sand vid the mandate. Also, they have a case of the ass about the DC mission from last year.

So, Joe Citizen, consider that the start of kinetics in America would only redound to the benefit of the change-agents (the deep state fux). This is Color revolution 101. I advise you to be in a defensive posture. Own guns. Be independent. Resist as much shit as possible, within your capability.

Our victory won’t be, as far as I can see, a military one. The entire planet has authoritarian Hitler wanna-be leadership. It is batshit crazy and, although we’ve observed it slowly overtake us, it also has the feeling of a sudden opening up of the ground, and a swarm-of-zombies appearance to it. Our presidents, monarchs, bureaucrats, governors, mayors, city councilmen, congressmen, school board members, police chiefs, corporate leaders, doctors, teachers, are corrupt en-masse. OTOH, there are maybe just as many of us out here who see-through the smoke screen of horseshit and are out here resisting.

No, doctor, I won’t take that Covid test. Really, Mr Grocer? You really insist that I wear a mask? Mr college president, why in the hell does my son or daughter have to learn remotely when there is a common cold variant in action?

Talk to your city cops. Talk to your county sheriff. Talk to your soldiers. It’s here. the nation is not in a pandemic and we are mad as hell about the lockdown. It doesn’t matter if it was real or fake. It’s now about: non-compliance. Do not speak to your elected officials in courteous understatement. Tell them you are worried about the violence coming from the democrat party operatives in the streets. Tell them the laws are plenty enough and any more laws are a type of oppression.

We’re in a war of ideas, and a spiritual battle. The center of gravity, strategically speaking, will not be kinetic. That violence will come to us, but it isn’t the decision point. The important thing is to keep a remnant of Americans who will uphold the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. Be peaceable, but neither be oppressed.

    Out here.

          Farmers, beekeepers.

What about the kid down the street who did 4 years in the Ranger Regiment. Where’s he working these days? What does he know, and can teach? The old dude who was in 5th Group in Vietnam. Maybe he remembers stuff from the Robin Sage exercise? (Look it up.)

I’m behind on this, myself. But I’m thinking…

    • Tom Hyland January 5, 2022, 8:49 PM

Every day when you go out there… resist. Remember the asinine anti-Trump “RESIST” bumper stickers everywhere? I don’t see them anymore. If there’s ever been a time to truly resist… it’s now. NEVER wear a mask. If you’re tossed out of a store tell the clowns they are idiots. Shop elsewhere. Never be tested and NEVER take the jab. Buy lots of coffee beans and Wolf Brand Chile.

      • Mike Austin January 6, 2022, 12:30 AM

I heard that there were other brands of chili other than Wolf Brand, but I did not believe it. I’ve been camping with Wolf Brand chili with beans for decades. I always add onions, all-beef wieners and cheddar. A friend once brought Hormel chili to the campsite. I should have double-tapped him with my Ruger.

        • ghostsniper January 6, 2022, 4:33 AM

Hey now. I’m kinda partial to the Hormel HOT chili.
Always have a few cans on hand but rarely eat it.
My own concoction is the best.
          Ever heard of “Hoosier Chili”?
That’s where you put elbow macaroni in it.
I’ve been known to put rice in there too.
          A real rib sticker.

          • Kevin in PA January 6, 2022, 5:06 AM

Hormel is whole owned by China….as is Smithfield, Armour and Nathans, to name just a few.

Imagine, whole hogs are sent to China from the U.S. to be slaughtered, processed and then shipped back to the U.S. market. On the face of it it is stupid beyond belief.

            • ghostsniper January 6, 2022, 7:58 AM

I heard about that a few weeks ago and I agree, it is beyond belief.
While I am against taxes in general, in circumstances like this I believe the import tariffs should be on the moon. No good can come from shipping animals over to be processed and shipped back.

I need one of the furrowed-browed-oh-so-smarts to explain how we will vote our way out of this damned mess.

    • Mike Austin January 5, 2022, 3:58 PM

Voting? As in 2020? Yeah that worked well. There is no voting, there is only the way of the gun. It speaks louder than any government megaphone.

    • KCK January 5, 2022, 6:08 PM

Unless the 2020 gets overturned, voting for me is now dead. My state is the worst of the worst. Scaffolds in Olympia: yes.

      I’ve never voted.
Even as a child the idea of majority rule didn’t seem right to me and still doesn’t.

Imagine a world where everyone gets to rule over everyone else.
      Sounds retarded doesn’t it?
Well with majority rule you’re half way there.

I used to show my 8th grade classes that Russian high school video of the AK 74. Most of the kids wanted such a class in their school. Imagine if every school in the US were required to teach riflery and gun safety. Impossible? Today sure. But we used to.

    https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2LNk7l1oFVw/V9G1ItHvVjI/AAAAAAACXC0/-2uSJmhGURMViFMs9wxJzXfoKUf4KowdwCLcB/s1600/schoolkids-learning-firearm-safety-in-indiana-1956-10.jpg

    And:

I also showed this video of a 13 year old girl shooting.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dlrNE2wdV0

After that video I would ask for a show of hands of those who had fired guns. It was always about half the class. Many of these kids would tell stories of how their parents taught them about guns. One little black girl was beaming with pride when she told the class that her dad let her fire his AK 47. I would teach those 8th graders how the Wild West shootists—guys like Hardin, Holliday and Hickcok—actually used their weapons. I used clips from “Open Range”, “Shane” and other films to reinforce the lessons.

I got away with this for a long time. Of course a parent complained—but just one out of hundreds I knew. But all that was 10 years ago in Oklahoma City. If I tried such antics today I would be tossed in jail.

  • ghostsniper January 6, 2022, 4:45 AM

    I’m constantly reinventing myself.
For decades my execution of choice has been to tie the varmint to the trailer hitch and drag them at 90 mph.

The 1st modification to that basic idea was to set the dragee on fire with diesel.
The 2nd modification was to have bystanders along the road shoot at the dragees as they tumble by.
The 3rd was to stream the event online and allow betting as to who lasts the longest.

Now, the 4th mod., tie more than one dragee to the hitch at the same time.
Imagine biden, harris, pelosi, and schumer tied to the same hitch, set on fire, dragged at 90mph while being fired upon and live streamed. Ghastly bodies bouncing about, legs entangled, unharmonious screams, flailing arms, disconnected heads, etc. A drone would follow closely overhead to give another viewing perspective.

It would be more popular than the superbowl and olympics combined!

Guilotines and lamposts are so 17th century and allow only so many viewers.
My method expands the viewing possibilities worldwide which would in turn cause potential tyrants to fear for their lives.

So I’m not the only one who indulges in revenge fantasy. Mine leans toward brutally painful confinement, and massive doses of LSD.
I can hear the screams, “Please make it stop!” I imagine brain shattered husks shambling incoherently through the remainder of their miserable days. Have some Kool-aid, Nancy.

        OK, that’s fine John.
But after you’ve had your fun can I rope em to the hitch?
I’ve got 10 itchy trigger fingers and I’ve been practicing tying rope knots.

  • jwm January 6, 2022, 5:52 AM

    Oh, and one last thing-
Casey Klahn, I’d like to get a comment on the mountaineers in the video. What they’re doing looks like an audition for a Darwin Award. Is that brave, or incredibly stupid?

    JWM

    • Casey Klahn January 6, 2022, 11:18 AM

Hi, John. They are doing not hard technical climbing, but it is very exposed. Their technique, even so, was absolutely amateur. What one should do, if you cannot walk on the cat walk edge, is to lie-back. The lie-back is hands on the edge, feet pressing the wall or finding edges.
It looks, if I see it correctly, like a lead climber might be out of frame with anchors that will arrest a fall, which explains the rope. If one were to simultaneously climb – 2 climbers, on rope, but no anchors, then this is not an uncommon practice as long as when you see your partner falling, you throw yourself immediately over the other side; the rope is anchored over the “knife edge”. Most ropes will handle this unless some gneiss, dyke, or other mineral edge is razor sharp. Then it’s goodbye.
But, exposure itself is not deadly. Emotional, but not deadly. Anyway, never crawl on hands and knees like that – it’s inelegant and unseemly.

  • Mike Austin January 6, 2022, 6:34 AM

So Washington State lawmakers—an odd name for what they really do—want to reduce penalties for drive-by shootings to “promote racial equality”. Ok then. First things first: This new “legislation” was introduced by Tarra Simmons—an enormously fat female—and David Hackney—an enormously fat negro. He is a male as far as I can tell. One never really knows these days with Democrats. Both of these “progressives” simply by promoting this bill are admitting that drive-by shootings are done mainly by negros to negros.

I have an idea for them—Hell, for the entire Democrat Party. Just make negros everywhere completely free of all Anglo-Saxon law. That way they can burn, loot, murder, rampage and rape to their hearts content—which they already do. Problem solved! The crime rate in the US would then consist only of crimes of white men—that is, conservative, heterosexual, Christian and Republican white men—against other white men. And any crime against the saintly negro would mean an instant life sentence.

Or we could just abandon the very idea of law altogether. Nothing would be illegal. When one thinks about this, it soon becomes the “best of all possible worlds”, because all criminals would be cured of their folly in a few weeks. There would be none left. And Washington DC would be empty.

    • ghostsniper January 6, 2022, 12:17 PM

That might not be such a bad idea, Mike.
The gov’t at all levels is increasingly inefficient and ineffective in all things and especially so in law enforcement and justice. If they were removed from the equation then men could step up and do the deed as needed unimpeded by gov’t thuggery. Crime of every sort would escalate at first but within a year it would plummet to levels not seen since the 18th century. People would be automatically forced to respect each other and treat others as they’d like to be treated. Or get smoked on the spot.

There is a slight problem or two with this method. The jails and prisons would be emptied and the employees would be laid off. But maybe those folks, if they are any good at their jobs, could seek employment with private security firms. Or go get in the soup lines.

Another problem would be disposing all of the dead criminal bodies. Since gov’t law enforcement and the justice systems would be defunct perhaps the funding for these two defunct establishments could be shifted to the new Criminal Disposal Foundation.

      • Mike Austin January 6, 2022, 12:39 PM

I have been musing for some time about eliminating prisons altogether. Simply have jails where those guilty of misdemeanors could serve their year. All felonies, whether state or federal, would serve their time in an African prison. We could make deals with several nations—say, Gambia, Eritrea and Ethiopia—and give each nation $10,000 for each felon. Since the US has about 2,000,000 in prisons, sending these ferals to Africa would mean a gain of $20 billion to those nations and would remove the nonsense of parole, probation and such. American felons would serve out their sentence away from the US. They would have whatever rights their host nations gave to their own criminals.

Crime here in the US would be reduced to almost nothing. I tingle when I imagine a future judge reading out the sentence to some piece of shit gang banger: “You are hereby sentenced to 35 years of hard labor in Maputo, Mozambique. You will be deported immediately.”

He probably would never see the US again. A pity, yes?

Up in NorCal near Grass Valley and Nevada City, there’s a much more offline and out of the center of things area called “San Juan County.” My late brother was driving me around there one summer afternoon several years back when he remarked, “The one thing to remember about San Juan County is that there are more backhoes here than pot farmers and there are a LOT of pot farmers.”

        • Mike Austin January 6, 2022, 1:14 PM

Reading this somehow made me think of Juan Corona, the California serial killer. He was a real piece of work. 25 bodies—at least—he buried in the soil near Yuba City. He had to have used a backhoe. 25 graves is too much for one guy to dig. Yeah, my mind moves in mysterious ways.
