Strange Daze: “I have tried… in my way… to be free.”

20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.  — Luke 21

People don’t become Manson or Capone all in a day. It takes years of dedication to become sh** like that. So, those who pushed Russian collusion, “fine people”, Russian Bounties and Jan 6 “insurrection” weren’t just starting in the world of lies: they’d been in for ages.

Lost on Mars — You are a colonist on Mars. You have left behind your country, and your kindred, and your father’s house, to go scrape an existence out of the thin infertile regolith of the fourth rock from the Sun. You will live the rest of your life maintaining an assembly-line routine of actions that, along with those of your crewmates, will slowly turn the red around you green. You will die here. Your body will be used for fertilizer. Musk paid off your college debt. You will miss your sister’s wedding and your mother’s funeral. You will not have children: Cosmic radiation, hardly blocked by the planet’s scant atmosphere, causes each rare impregnation to swiftly end in miscarriage, and many crewmembers are now as sterile as the Martian surface. Is it worth it?

This is an Age of Faith, and there are so many militant creeds that, in self defence, one has to formulate a creed of one’s own. Tolerance, good temper, and sympathy are no longer enough in a world where ignorance rules, and Science, which ought to have ruled, plays the pimp. Tolerance, good temper, and sympathy — they are what matter really, and if the human race is not to collapse they must come to the front before long.   — E. M. Forster –

The City and the Stars | Here was the end of an evolution almost as long as Man’s. Its beginnings were lost in the mists of the Dawn Ages when humanity had first learned the use of power and sent its noisy engines clanking about the world. Steam, water, wind-all had been harnessed for a little while and then abandoned. For centuries the energy of matter had run the world until it too had been superseded, and with each change, the old machines were forgotten and new ones took their place. Very slowly, over thousands of years, the ideal of the perfect machine was approached—that ideal which had once been a dream, then a distant prospect, and at last reality: No machine may contain any moving parts. Here was the ultimate expression of that ideal. Its achievement had taken Man perhaps a hundred million years, and in the moment of his triumph, he had turned his back upon the machine forever. It had reached finality and thenceforth could sustain itself eternally while serving him.

The Last Survivor TikTok account is claiming to be a man stuck in 2027 Other unanswered questions are how are there footprints in the sand on the beach? How are there ships on the water if there are no humans? Why are the cars so clean!? Javier has since claimed that everything he sees is still in 2021 but he is in 2027. He said: “I want to clarify that I am in 2027 but everything I see and where it is stayed in 2021. I think I woke up in 2027 as a parallel reality. And I just remembered my name.” Huh?

Sensing Online: The Revolutionary Truth of the new Biden administration Grow government: It’s what they do. It’s really all they do. And note author James Freeman’s sentence that this speech contradicts “the message of the Biden presidential campaign.” Of course, but so what?

Update, Feb. 6: Massachusetts’ undersecretary for climate change, Charlie Baker, said it’s time to put the screws to ordinary people to break their will:  “So let me say that again, 60% of our emissions that need to be reduced come from you, the person across the street, the senior on fixed income, right ¦ there is no bad guy left, at least in Massachusetts to point the finger at, to turn the screws on, and you know, to break their will, so they stop emitting. That’s you. We have to break your will. Right, I can’t even say that publicly.” Every government climate bureaucrat is at heart simply a dictator.

HEMORRHOIDS AND COMMUNISM | Marx. It is not just hemorrhoids that may have changed world history. I knew that Karl Marx was afflicted with painful “boils” during his lifetime but I did not connect such an affliction with communism. I see the possible connection now. Mason reports that medical historian Sam Schuster wrote in the British Journal of Dermatology in 2007 that there was credible evidence that Karl Marx suffered from a skin disease that can create a severe psychological disorder, one that can foster feelings of exploitation and alienation. Schuster the researcher theorizes that Marx’s affliction could very likely have given a significant push to the direction Marx took which led to his invention of the theory that underpins communism.

Resurrection Aesthetic – The American MindThe Renaissance marked a second wind of secondarity, classical magnanimity rediscovered by a humble people, close to the earth, aware of a suffering God. Teetering on the edge of an era, living amid the dying light of the Medieval world as the sun of modernity began to rise, they dug deep into the deposit of European history and exhumed the spirit of a forgotten age… We too live on a cusp between ages, between the faded modern world and whatever lies ahead. Let us develop the courage to imitate the humility of those who came before us. Let us recover the shameless dignity that will allow us to see clearly.

The Sovereign Professional | Thoughts on staying sane as an independent professional in a world of chaos and entitlement. A malapropism walks into a bar, looking for all intensive purposes like a wolf in cheap clothing, muttering epitaphs and casting dispersions on his magnificent other, who takes him for granite.

As Carlyle said of the Revolutions of 1848:

Bird On The Wire by Leonard CohenSpeaking of this song in a 1993 interview with Song Talk, Cohen explained: “It was begun in Greece because there were no wires on the island where I was living to a certain moment. There were no telephone wires. There were no telephones. There was no electricity. So at a certain point they put in these telephone poles, and you wouldn’t notice them now, but when they first went up, it was about all I did – stare out the window at these telephone wires and think how civilization had caught up with me and I wasn’t going to be able to escape after all. I wasn’t going to be able to live this 11th-century life that I thought I had found for myself. So that was the beginning.

Then, of course, I noticed that birds came to the wires and that was how that song began. ‘Like a drunk in a midnight choir,’ that’s also set on the island. Where drinkers, me included, would come up the stairs. There was great tolerance among the people for that because it could be in the middle of the night. You’d see three guys with their arms around each other, stumbling up the stairs and singing these impeccable thirds. So that image came from the island: ‘Like a drunk in a midnight choir.'”

    …”like a drunk in a midnight choir….”
But it is getting damn difficult to be free in an unfree world….drunk or sober.

Mark Noonan is correct. Liars didn’t just start lying today. Thieves didn’t steal their first item when you caught them today.

I really enjoyed the LeBron James video meme! I could watch that all day. Maybe I can make it a screen saver.

Sensing also correct. Grow government. It’s what they do. And I would put it to you that this Biden plan is modeled after the current CCP system in place in China. Massive infusion of money from the state and massive interference in the business sector to control and direct the economy. It is Modern Monetary Theory. And it is rooted in the ignorant belief that government has money. The only money government has is what they take out of the productive sector in the first place. The money has to be produced, as in goods and services must trade hands and that enterprise is taxed. This is the origin of “government money”. It is coming out of your pocket or the pockets of future generations. What is happening today (has been for a number of years but growing exponentially now) is the creation of paper currency to “finance” these grandiose “projects” (full of graft and cronyism). They wrap this nonsense up with nice speeches about concern for the environment, “for the children”, to help minorities get a “hand up not a hand out”….blah, blah, blah. These bastards are all about power. Power and they lust for more of it. This is a form of enslavement of future generations. It is utterly immoral, corrupt and wrong.

“Among the vast natural resources of our country, stupidity is one of the most common. And here, ladies and gentlemen, we have found the motherlode.” And Phineas was most certainly correct on that call. The stupid was huge in that short clip of negro logic.

It is at this point that I must ask, is AD’s very own Lance de Boyle the editor of the Sovereign Professional? His mastery of malapropisms was the clue.

To Michael Brendan Dougherty, I want to express my greatest appreciation for your very poignantly truthful words directed at the traitorous John Brennan.

And as always, may thanks for your efforts, Gerard. AD is the most interesting blog on the world wide interwebs.

Location, location, location. Gotta say, not a think has changed on our mountain. I’ll take the USA for a Thousand, any day, every day.

I’m amused at the all hands focused on Russia. Pro tip, China is about to be the real problem. Belt and Road has been nothing but a covert way for the chinks to strategically place people and resources.

    Never underestimate the enemy.

China’s “ Total War” concept has been in play for years now. Biden is their shill, what the Chinese clearly understand is this. It is We The People whom China is concerned about. Not our govt, our armed forces. Most don’t recognize that China’s war games regarding the US, are almost exactly the US. Plans.

The wild cards will be The people. With the weapons and ammo stashed by citizens across the nation, presents a huge unknown for the Reds. We are amateurs, we will fight in small wars and disappear, only to show up at another illogical location.

A form of unconventional warfare lead by small leaderless groups. The thing with the Chinese and their total war scheme is, I see them killing every male American as examples and to degrade the guerrilla population.

    Vicious, bloody to the end.

    Until then, I’m going fishing!.

    Village Idiot.

I have, for the majority of my adult life lived following the following mantra, and will continue to do so, as that is my God given right by virtue of my very humanity rather than requiring some “permission.” slip or mandate from some lame feral agency.
Freedom is the ability of every person to make personal choices without a government permission slip — to exercise free will. Free will is the natural characteristic we share in common with God. He created us in His image and likeness. As He is perfectly free, so are we.

I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them to obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do. An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.

Read Micha’s Lost on Mars, every word, as penance for my many sins.

    Better luck next time.

“….you get to kill black people, particularly when they’re not being perfect.”

Well, that’s a higher bar than stomping an old man’s head because he was minding his own business.

But, okay by me, muffin head.

    enn ess…
Thanks for that Heinlein quote. I’m sure I read it 50 years ago, but like most of his stuff the sense of it stayed with me far longer than the quotation. It’s so internalized I almost can’t imagine hearing it from somebody else.

Stranger in a Strange Land was published when I was 16; I know I came across it and read it long before I was 20. Later it became a symbol amongst the hippies, to my surprise. Always Heinlein’s thought just made perfect clear sense to me.

“Cosmic radiation, hardly blocked by the planet’s scant atmosphere … .”

Actually, it is earth’s magnetic field that blocks cosmic radiation. And that magnetic field is formed by two things: first, earth’s iron-rich, liquid deep mantle and core, and second, a fairly rapid rotation.

Does Mars have those things? Nope:

Since Mars is a rocky, terrestrial planet like Earth, one might assume that the same kind of magnetic paradigm functions there, too. However, Mars does not generate a magnetic field on its own, outside of relatively small patches of magnetized crust.

Chris Houck’s post with the accompanying vid of expert negros discussing how cops should handle black raging elephantine 16 year old girls with knives who, while having a bad day, are working hell-bent to stab one of their little playmates should be shown on every social media site on the planet.

That vid is very likely one of the finest examples of psychotic negro reasoning that I’ve witnessed in weeks. Most of the time all we’re permitted to see are bouncy cell phone vids of massive, foxy dressed negresses with flowing tresses, flying fists and head stomps, trying to mutilate each other at the Micky D or the Chuckie Cheese or at Walmart.

But truthfully, I’m particularly fond of the vids that include footage of bras, cheap halter tops and bad weaves being heaved back and forth as chairs and silverware fly through the air but they all lack the cogency of a panel of negro experts who willingly instruct the remainder of the world how we should view it and restore order.

Screw’em. The more they run their mouths and do nothing about their own kind, the deeper they dig their holes.

re: the climate sham article. Well done, as always, Rev Sensing!

I only wish to add that we can give nothing to the climate commies. Not an inch. There is no climate change. The climate is fine. If the climate were to change, put on a loin cloth and dance around a burning trailer home with a bottle of muscatel.

Mine were the people who would shoot owls to hide them from the owl fetishists who closed the woods down. It’s a political war, and even the smallest ideas by the Left are ludicrous and more than irksome. Look at your gas cans. Look at your harsh indoor lighting (too cool). Watch now as your food and fuel prices soar. I’m having none of that, thanks.

    This just in-
A Trump supporter infiltrated Antifa in NorCal, and reports they have a “hit list,” and are talking about murdering Police and others whom they call their enemies-

I see no reasonable way to deal with BLM and Antifa other than an all-out brutal and relentless war on them. They have burned, looted, (over $2.2 BILLION in damage) and murdered.
    We should respond in kind.
