Stop. Look. Listen.

What’s amazing to me is the number of people who just keep on walking. It seems to me that many of them are couples whose females take a glance and just keep guiding the male down the road.

That is so lovely and charming. My younger daughter studied violin and ballet along with piano and guitar and though she’s coming up on 28, she is remarkably beautiful and talented and she puts me in mind of this young lady.

Daughters….I’ve got two of them and if I could afford it I would have had 200. They are beyond belief.

“It seems to me that many of them are couples whose females take a glance and just keep guiding the male down the road.”

Of course. The scene is not about them and there is no conceivable reframing which could make it about them (e.g. putting on a display of empathy or outrage). Therefore it does not really exist.

    Female Solipsism is a Tautology.

The bigger problem is Males Being Led.

Gratuitously stirring the pot, I just saw this which some guy commented in reply to another commenter in Z Man’s today post:

“ The question is why now? ”

    It’s the women, stupid! 😂👍

Seriously – if you’ve ever been married, or had liberal women in your family, they are immune to logic and common sense. They think with their emotions and are therefore prone to manipulation by any form of flattery. Ancient Greek and Roman lore is rife with the idea of manipulating women through their vanity – and they in turn manipulate and betray their men.

Women are the fearless defenders of queers, trannies, and pedos, who are the hapless victims of bigoted old ways of thinking in their narrative. You will note that all the official victim groups are very careful to flatter women and include them. They make a show of deferring and submitting to them even as they wrap them around their little fingers. How else could you explain mothers offering their own children up to trannies and pedophiles? Or murdering them outright with abortion?

Even the old Romans and Greeks got it wrong though. Women like Eve and Pandora and others are incorrectly portrayed as innocent victims of their nature. Can you imagine if It was Hillary Clinton in the garden of eden? That old bint would have not only gobbled all the forbidden froot before Adam got any, she’d have used the serpent for a dildo and eaten him afterward!

Ultimately the fault is ours as men. We need to get our women under control or they WILL bring the roof down on us.

You’re right TINN, it’s not about them, it’s about her – the player.
She’s in her own world in those minutes and it doesn’t matter if anyone likes it or not.
She leaves this plane and enters another one.

I was exercising my misogyny more than thinking about Flow… but you’re absolutely right.

Eve was never considered “an innocent victim of her nature”. See Genesis. Eve is portrayed as a weak dissembler who is easily seduced. The Greeks and Romans likewise had an excellent understanding of the true nature of women. For the Greeks, see Medea and Helen and Clytemnestra. For the Romans, see Fulvia and Cleopatra. The Greeks treated women scarcely better than the Taliban does today, and females had hardly any part in Greek History save for figures of fun and tragedy. For tragedy see “Antigone” and Iphigenia. For fun see “Lysistrata” and “Ecclesiazusae”. In Rome as well women played no part in the running of the Republic or the Empire.

As a matter of fact, I can find no era in all of 6000 years of History where women were considered as “innocent victims of their nature”. As for the modern world, you are right in that women are out of control. But that happened because males shrugged off their duty to society and bought hook, line and sinker the canard that “women were equal in every way to men”. Such nonsense spells the end of civilization. To put it another way: Civilization is born masculine, but dies feminine.

To understand women is not to be misogynistic. It is to be a man.

Mike sed: “Civilization is born masculine, but dies feminine.”
That truth cannot be not seen today.
        It’s everywhere.

        • Mike Austin August 19, 2022, 5:05 AM

Indeed. There is hardly any redoubt or governing body of Western Civilization that is not controlled by women or feminized males. The results are all around and, as you wrote, “cannot be not seen today.”

“Stand By Me”–I forgot just how beautiful that song is. Thank you

What’s amazing to me is that not a single one of those dipshxt flaneurs hit the tip jar.

  • Lynnehashadit August 18, 2022, 9:59 PM

I have loved this song forever. I’ve discovered, that in it’s many, many iterrations, that no one has actually fucked it up. This is a beautiful rendition, done by a beautiful young girl. Thanks Gerard.

      You are most welcome, Lynne.

  • Lynnehashadit August 18, 2022, 10:02 PM

The most beautiful song of all time.

I particularly enjoyed Dad by the lamppost, expression never changing, dutifully watching her play a piece he’s heard countless times before, until she could play it perfectly. It wasn’t with the same enthusiasm that we see in Rod Stewart when he performs with his daughter, but I’m sure he’s just as proud of his young violinist.

  • Denny August 19, 2022, 6:04 AM

There’s nothing in this world more beautiful than a godly woman.
There’s nothing uglier than a worldly woman who has been seduced by that
    doctrine of demons called feminism.

    • Mike Austin August 19, 2022, 6:12 AM

Nothing could be more true. The Godly woman pursues saintliness, and comes to resemble her Master. The feminist woman pursues ugliness, and comes to resemble her master.

Awesome! Street performers are often the best!

The Russian film “Leviathan” (2014 Cannes award) is the one film I would ask everyone here to watch.
It tells the story of what is happening in the US today only it is based in Russia. It also tells the story of women in leadership roles. It is available on Amazon prime. In the past I have been able to find it on you tube, maybe you still can. You will have to read sub-titles, but it is an important film and worth the effort.

    @Mike Anderson

Her name is Carolina Protsenko, ie, Ukrainian. Of course, if that were well known, everybody in the vicinity would have formed a line half a city block long to tip her.

Unless this took place after Ukraine stopped being the next big thing, then they would have ignored her

The epitome of beauty in sight, movement and sound. And shame on those who believe the new generation is wasted. Not entirely from many I’ve met and know… then there’s this young lady who is exceptional.
