#staywithme: Real news from real people got raw

JOHN jon is just some average YouTuber who gets into his car and drives around the imploding areas of Los Angeles and shares his off-the-top-of-the-head observations on the decline of LA into a 3rd World Shithole. Here’s a segment from his recent report entitled “FIGUEROA ST South Central IS ON Fire: Night Time Models Parties Trash Graffiti Homeless Helicopters.”

The result (I’ve cued this to the relevant section) is news reporting gold. From “Fireworks? Is that fireworks?” — to “Fire? FIRE! WHAT?” — to “Staywithme… staywithme… JOHN jon’s going to get it turned around.” No opinions but a reporting overhead scuttlebutt and the “they say” rumors — reporting in that  “They’re going to need extra help”  as the flames start to involve the I-10 North Freeway. You have to admire the resolve of JOHN jon to keep his cellphone camera on the fire itself and allow us to witness the facts as they unfold. Nary an opinion in sight although it is obvious what JohnJon’s opinions would be. (Maybe)

The upshot is a chunk of pure reportage the like of which hasn’t been seen around “professional” news shops in many a moon. It’s refreshing. It’s the truth.

That’s why it ends with,

“You want a coke. Sure I’ll buy you a coke.”

Slice of life in the unreported and unshown ruins of Los Angeles. Got raw.

UPDATE: SCOOP! TINY HOUSES!

The Sins and Sprockets outlaw bicycle club held big group cruises right through the heart of this turf. My club went many times. We’d meet in Chinatown, sometimes at mid-day, and sometimes late at night. We’d gather right under the Metrolink station on North Spring Street, party seriously for a couple hours, and roll out in a pack of close to a hundred bikes on the mystery tours. The Sins know Downtown, Skid Row, the market districts, and parts of old, old Los Angeles that only the locals know. They do twisty routes on main streets, and back streets through the heart of Downtown, and out into the scary bad neighborhoods. I’ve been right where this was being filmed a bunch of times.
The ‘buy me a Coke’ lady? When the bike pack rolled through those neighborhoods, you’d think we were a cross between a Hell’s Angels run and the Rose Parade. Folks would be out on the front lawns jumpin’ up and and down and whooping. It was crazy.
But it was starting to get spooky the last time I rode one of those gigs, maybe four years back. The homeless numbers were just exploding as every bum and his uncle hit the road for So Cal. Even then, we stayed clear of Skid Row. And those other routes were getting a little sketchy.
    And now?
    No.

What that place needs is a battalion of M60 tanks converted to giant flame throwers with 1000lb propane tanks, commandeered by viking warlocks with a serious case of the ass.

I couldn’t help noticing the red “Wrong Way” sign at the lower right corner of the burning homeless camp.

“…South Centrals on Fire folks…stay with me….stay with me.” LMAO

  • stephen_barron June 4, 2021, 7:21 AM

About a month ago, driving north on I5 at about 11 am on a Sunday, near Burbank airport, there was a section of a homeless camp fully engulfed in flames right next to freeway, traffic whizzing by at 80 mph, me included. No law enforcement or fire response in sight, although I think they just hadn’t shown up yet. The charred ruins are still there, and neighboring camp less than 30 feet away still quite active.

Also for fun, do a news search on “panga boat san diego” and notice how often it is going on. Sometimes these people make it, sometimes they get caught, and sometimes they succumb to the elements.

I need no reminders to stay waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay far away from LA.

  • EX-Californian Pete June 4, 2021, 11:34 AM

    Wow….
L.A. gradually went from the “City Of Angels” to the “City Of A-holes.”
It actually makes Haiti look somewhat habitable by comparison now.

Meanwhile, L.A. (and most of Commiefornia) is currently facing a mega-drought of Biblical proportions this year, probably the worst wildfire season in it’s history, and just to put icing on the cake- in 2020 L.A. saw a 38% rise in murders, and in 2021, (so far) the murder rate ON TOP OF THAT rose ANOTHER 95%.

And the L.A. County Sheriff is being a gutless, liberal twit about issuing CCW permits- despite the skyrocketing violent crime rates. And even if you COULD get a CCW permit, it’s all but impossible to find ammo for your gun- in the whole freakin’ state!

Holy crap- check out how Oroville Lake is nothing but a pisstrickle now.

It sure feels good to have gotten the hell outta that state, and currently living right next door to the Great Lakes- which hold about 20% of the world’s fresh water supply. And my county doesn’t tolerate having any of those subhuman homeless dregs here- they either get jailed or run the hell out.

Conversion is coming and it may already be happening but you haven’t noticed yet.
You gotta watch real close and open your mind to how the poison starts. Tiny little things seem innocent at first but they lead to bigger things soon enough. Watch for things like the acquiring of gov’t grants, that always have long tendrils included that will not surface until a few years down the road. Or federal loan guarantee’s for county projects that also have those tendrils. If the county has a gov’t it has the poison.

There were less than 15,000 people in the county I live in 15 years ago when we moved here and I have seen the changes happen here that I mentioned above. The county seat here has less than 1000 citizens, everyone else is rural. Yet the communism creep is occurring. The only way to slow it down is to indiscriminately kill all of the local communist criminals. No exceptions. But in a couple years new one will take their place.

Sims and Sprockets, outlaw bicycle gang? My friend you made my day. When I was stationed in ROTA Spain, 79/83, the black shoe fleet guys had the outlaw Bicycle gang, the Tibarons! A president, VP master at Arms, all have Levi vests, with engineer boots, I’d drink a bunch of “ Tinto” and screw with em every chance I got.

Hell we all did. Bennies was the local hangout. One night those guys put my moped in the top of the trees. Took me awhile, but one of the wave black shoes I dated called and told me where to look. Nothing serious, but took innovation to get the moped up, and blind luck to get it down, without hurting anybody. All the while the Tibarones sat at the bars Poole laughing and cat calling.

Once it was down, we all drank beer into the night. Laughing.

And if you want to know what’s happening “over the hill” (do they still say that?) check out German in Venice on YouTube.

I’m a huge fan of Joni Mitchell and have been since she emerged upon the public. In her monumental album Court and Spark, released 01/01/74, the title song contains a line: but I couldn’t let go of L.A., city of the fallen angels.

That album was magnificent and I still listen to it, hearing fresh and new things, quite regularly but I always loved that line. Joni recognized the place as a sick and sinking sob even back them.

    Ghost-

    Worry not for me, bud.
We still do the equivalent of “pitchforks & torches” brand of justice around here, and yes- been watching, and with both eyes wide open. It’s what we do here.
Just a couple days ago, a few miles from my little town, some “ethnic” gentleman visiting from the Detroit area was caught spray painting graffiti on a freeway underpass column, and was also discovered to have meth and a few stolen power tools in his car.
Cops showed up, and then left justice to be served by the locals. No Police report filed. No local news story on it.

He won’t be back, and I’m sure that he’ll be telling all his homies that this might not be the best area for them to set up shop or vacation in.
Meantime, quite a few more ‘F*** Biden’ and ‘Impeach Biden’ flags and banners are popping up around here.

BTW, the “assault weapon ban” was just OVERTURNED in Commiefornia! GLORY BE! HALLELUJIA! Hope springs eternal.

Pleased to hear that at least one Fed Judge see’s it for what it is. Their are more black rifles in CA then anyone could ever imagine.

I physically laughed when Newsome threw a tantrum. Newsome said ,,,,,, he grew up with a judge for a father, a law and order kinda guy. I also grew up around the Auburn Colfax area, knew his father from my youth, a drunk, a skirt chaser and a self serving piece of shit.

What’s that classic, the fruit never falls from the tree.

Anyways congratulations to the folks in Calif. “ Heller” has always been the standard, pleased that common sense prevailed for once.

Be interesting to see how long
before the 9th circuit takes this up. My spider senses tell me they may leave it alone. SCOTUS will spank em again, which they do routinely!. I was wrong, once before! Haha.

Lastly I’d like to advise Californians of this fact. State DOJ, has several teams of SWAT types who are kicking doors and seizing weapons across the state. These fuckers are nothing more then Jack booted boot lickers. Executed well over a thousand no knock search warrants last year alone.

Use to be a fantastic place to grow up. Ashamed what’s been allowed to happen.
