That’s when I just close the browser tab and go elsewhere.

I used to type in blow-us@fuck-you.com but any more I just close the tab.
It’s an enigma to me why businesses are chasing customers away.
At least 60% of the internet is now worthless and half the remainder is a repeat of the rest.
Try to do any serious research, unless you have a lightspeed connection you will waste a lot of time because of all the bullshit you have to wade through.
It’s a me, Me, ME! world now.
Same with emails, phonecalls, texts, streaming, satellites, and OTA TV, etc.
Tech everything now is mostly bullshit.
Been going downhill since around 2008.
I saw it when it began but I probably won’t see it end, for the end for me could be any day now, depending on my mood. One of these days I’ll just unplug and step off.
I miss the 2003 era internet when 1) most sites were mostly static html with very little active content to slow it down and 2) only motivated creative people dared to self publish content, as opposed to now when every yahoo under the sun has a Facebook or Twitter account – turns out, barriers to entry can be a good thing sometimes.
There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.
Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black
And the dark street winds and bends.
Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow
We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And watch where the chalk-white arrows go
To the place where the sidewalk ends.
Yes we’ll walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And we’ll go where the chalk-white arrows go,
For the children, they mark, and the children, they know
The place where the sidewalk ends.
The steel mill sky is alive.
The fire breaks white and zigzag
shot on a gun-metal gloaming.
Man is a long time coming.
Man will yet win.
Brother may yet line up with brother:
This old anvil laughs at many broken hammers.
There are men who can’t be bought.
The fireborn are at home in fire.
The stars make no noise,
You can’t hinder the wind from blowing.
Time is a great teacher.
Who can live without hope?
In the darkness with a great bundle of grief
the people march.
In the night, and overhead a shovel of stars for keeps, the people
march:
“Where to? what next?”

Websites for mainstream news (newspapers, network TV affiliates, etc.) are impossible to navigate nowadays.
I still stick to blogs.
I’ve missed you. Sorry I’ve been gone for so long.
Hope you’re well, and life is good for you, Joan. Seeing your nic is kind of a blast from the past.
