I’ve grown to love this song so much that my de facto response to the casual question “How ya doin’?” is “I’m still standing.”

I guess most know Rush Limbaugh paid an extravagant amount to have Elton perform at his wedding to Catherine and he happily did so and posed for photos. So kudos to Mr. John for not still not being as big a fag as Neil Young.

No, everyone hasnt quite put their finger on it. I’ve got your Elton John trifecta of greatness … and it shall be Levon, Tiny Dancer and Rocket Man
He’s been on the radio since I was in high school and I never cared about him one way or another, neither particularly liked or disliked his music. If I thought about him it all it was to admire his longevity and wonder what the hell Levon and Daniel were supposed to be about.
I’ve always loved this song – one of his best. Still gets a ton of airplay and deservedly so. You might be having a lousy day and then this comes on and suddenly things don’t seem so bad. Decent guitar solo in there to boot.
