How credible would a future President Trump be if he won the election by the FBI’s actions

instead of the vote of the public? That would be the worst case scenario even if you are a Trump supporter.
The public would never accept the result as credible. That was the choice for FBI Director Comey. He could either do his job by the letter of the law – and personally determine who would be the next president – or he could take a bullet in the chest for the good of the American public. He took the bullet.
Thanks to Comey, the American voting public will get to decide how much they care about Clinton’s e-mail situation. And that means whoever gets elected president will have enough credibility to govern effectively. Comey might have saved the country. He sacrificed his reputation and his career to keep the nation’s government credible. It was the right decision. Comey is a hero. The FBI, Credibility, and Government | Scott Adams' Blog

Your Say

I'm sorry. Scott Adams logic seems, to me, to be as twisted up as Comey's.

Putting aside the fact that it’s not Comey’s job do worry about some convoluted election scenario, I’m not ready to concede that the majority of voting Americans are suddenly going to NOT vote for Hillary because she WASN’T indicted. (If anything I believe the opposite).

Especially keeping in mind that these are the same brain dead folks voted for Obama. Twice!!!

Pish and tosh. Who's to say that Hillary's replacement would not have soundly trounced Trump? Comey's job was to follow the letter of the law and report the facts of the investigation to the prosecutors. That's it. Anything more or less is a miscarriage of justice. He cost the government credibility and as it stands, the public will never accept the election result as credible when Hillary's status is in doubt. Comey is no hero in this mess.

On the other hand, Debbie Schlussel has some "much stronger" words for Comey and some of his previous shenanigans. http://www.debbieschlussel.com/82836/james-comey-freed-these-islamic-terrorists-got-them-citizenship-prosecuted-feds-who-got-guilty-verdict-against-them/#more-82836

To expect a person to display a higher level of character than the persons who hire him is, well, stupid. Nobody in this play just got off the bus at Port Authority. Corrupt and venal types hire people they know they can trust, how could they do otherwise?

What about accepting the investigation clearing her as credible? Seriously? She could have written some of the talking points.

Bullshit, or should I say Billshit.
Comey has a long history of aiding and abetting the Clintons. See this
