The real wrong side of history

The arrogant leftist notion that the arc of the universe bends towards justice (i.e. what they want) is predicated on the belief that Western liberalism will remain hegemonic.
However, I suspect that this dominant liberal narrative will erode as China and other Asian nations continue to rise. We already know that Asian countries have no use for the kind of bizarre identity politics running amok in the West. In fact, given how pervasive intense nationalism is in Asia, I suspect that Asia’s ascendancy – combined with the West’s demise – will alter the way we view history. Such a paradigm shift will not be kind to the likes of John Oliver. Future Asian historians will be nonplussed upon learning that Americans placed a higher premium on transsexual rights than nationalism or a strong economy. Alternative Right

Your Say

Does anyone really imagine that an ascendant orient won't grow rich, decadent and corrupt in their turn? If so please point to some civilization where that has not happened.

Fred,
It's a human characteristic disregarding race religion, politics. Aw, you guys know this so unless it is a trick question I would say there are none, never were, never will be.

Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Heck, even Ming the Merciless succumbed to it.

Only those that are satisfied with what they have, desiring not to accumulate more for the sake of more will not become corrupted. But they probably will be killed off for setting a bad example to those lusting after money, power and pussy.

I don't think the West will die.(it is undeniably in decline but I think there will be a resurgence after economic collapse and excision of the Leftists)

I don't think the Russian Asians will get along with the Chinese Asians for very long, they both want to be #1 and they are both ruthless.
