Unless and until the Right comes to terms with what they are facing,

America is doomed. These are not people with whom you can reason or compromise.
They are fanatics. To quote myself, “The Liberal is out there! They can’t be bargained with. They can’t be reasoned with. They don’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.” - - The Z Blog › The Fascist States of America

"They can’t be bargained with. They can’t be reasoned with. They don’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.”

Which describes just about any intolerant fundamentalist cult, religion, or ism. In their minds it's all for the good. If you don't agree 100%, then you are EEEVIL! And must be silenced or put in a camp to be re-educated or gassed. And where have we seen that? WWII Germany, the USSR, Red China, North Korea, Vietnam, and Myanmar would fit. In even less civilized places, like Afghanistan or Iran, they just stone you, whip you, or cut off your head. It's a human trait that's been with us for most of history. Best we understand it.

The normally passive nature of conservatives simply does not work when it comes to the screeching LIEberals as they are not swayed by logic. As Kyle Reese said, "They can't be reasoned with."

So what's left, no pun intended?
That depends on what you are inside.
Can you kill a man bent on killing you?
Suppose he is trying to paper cut you to death, at what point to do you stop it?
After the first cut? The 2nd? The 10th? The 3,000th? When?
And how do you stop him?
Not just delay him.
Stop him?

Already doomed. Its over. In fact, I think you could make an argument that the end was signaled when Reagan killed the entire manned space program over one exploding shuttle.
