The youth vote.

“Frankly, I don’t want the youth to vote,” I told him.
“They don’t own property, they don’t pay taxes, they don’t have kids to send to school. They have no financial stake and little moral stake in society and, until they do, I’d prefer they stay the heck away from the polls.” Millennials Want What Boomers Lost

Your Say

"Let the kids vote. I think they would vote for free candy.
It is the Democrat approach, isn't it?"

If you choose people to violate my natural rights you are an enemy of mine. I will never violate your natural rights.

And you are in agreement with the original idea. Only those with property could vote, because they were the ones who had skin in the game.

I've always thought that when people start receiving a percentage of their income from the government (not partial returns of what the Government took and held, but unearned income), then they should cease to hold the right to vote.
I don't know if that percentage should be 50%, or 51%, or 100% or 1%. But at some point you are no longer an independent and free man, you are a dependent.
At that point you should not be allowed to vote yourself more, to be taken away from others.
