A CHRISTIAN RESPONSE: Homosexual Marriage and Donations

The first thing Christians need to realize is that the Bible is unequivocal in its opposition and condemnation of homosexual activity....
The second thing Christians need to remember is that we are all sinners. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. All of us are guilty of sinning and violating God's law, and as Peter explains, any one sin is sufficient for that strand holding us above the dread fires of God's wrath to break. - - Word Around the Net

The third thing Christians need to realize is that the Bible is unequivocal in its opposition and condemnation of adultery and fornication.

Nicely written, but I found the article too mamby pamby
in its "let's as Christians just respond in humility and love" crapola.

You don't respond to the Nazis, ghetto gangs, or the like that way...so why just to THESE fascists?!

Like someone wrote,
"throwing tables and chasing with whips ws not outside what Jesus would do."
THAT'S A FAIR, COMMENSURATE RESPONSE.

Without doing a literature search, let me posit that a whole bunch, maybe most, perhaps nearly all of the world's cultures and religions, past and present, condemn homosexual activity. I can't recall ever hearing of a culture or religion that condoned and licensed homosexual activity, unless you want to call present day U.S. practices a culture. Not that homosexual activity didn't occur, and when it did, was perhaps overlooked, but it was never condoned and licensed. Correct me if this is wrong.

The thing about the Bible to be understood is the difference in homosexuality and the homosexual acts per se. If you don't know that some people are made to be attracted to the opposite sex and you discover two men or women in sexual acts you would be disgusted and horrified and condemn it as unnatural. They simply did not know what a homosexual person was in that time. I think we should should consider the Bible as condemning homosexual acts by heterosexuals. That is unnatural and should be condemned.

God went searching for ten good sodomites. He didn't find any. You can't separate the thief from his haul. He is what he does. The homosexuals are in heterocamouflage for the purpose of deceiving the gullible. It's so easy being nice. It's hard work thinking their arguments through. Just be quiet. I suggest looking at the photos from a gay pride parade and as you see the filth shoved into the faces of the tolerant mommies and their babes in strollers, ask yourselves: Why are they proud of this?

bilpu, you're making a classic error from ignorance, assuming that people in the past were stupid. Homosexuals were well known and understood in Biblical times, just as they are now. Nobody was baffled by the concept, they knew it existed. The Bible in no uncertain terms absolutely condemns homosexual activity by ANYONE.

@Jewel, Very well said. "He is what he does."

In the future they will look back at this disgusting period and ask, "What in the world were they thinking?"

The Good Book says it, I believe it, that settles it for me.

All them other-gendered people should get a punch in the face. That is my attitude for the day.

If the right one don't getcha then the left one will.

My advice to those who are about to begin, in earnest, the journey of life, is to take their heart in one hand and a club in the other. ~ Josh Billings
