If anyone has labored from the first hour,

Your Say

It's not just a Paschal homily---it's _the_ Paschal Homily of St John Chrysostom, one of the most famous homilies in all Christendom. It is given every year at the Paschal liturgy in the Eastern Orthodox Church. Pascha, incidentally, was May 5th, and it was wonderful. You haven't lived until you've celebrated an Orthodox Pascha.

"O Death, where is your sting?
O Hell, where is your victory?"

ahem: I was going to say the same thing!

Still recovering from directing my first Great Lent, Holy Week, and Pascha. (Orthodox Christian choirs are completely a capella, and rely on the director for, well, a lot.

Tired. Joyous.

Christ is Risen!
