In re the blood facial routine:

There's no evidence at all that this gory procedure works, and only the babiest starting evidence that injecting platelets into the skin works at all against the appearance of aging.

"Babiest starting evidence?" Reckon what they mean by that?

Billy Hamilton's speed won't go to waste, even if the Reds or whatever team he lands with don't let him steal as much as he does in the minors. Speed gets you a lot--first to third, or second to home on a single, beating the relay on a would-be double-play ball to keep a rally going, or running down a line drive in the gap. Power is great, love to see the long ball as much as anyone, but "small baseball" can win you games when the big bats fall silent, as they invariably do at some point during the long season.
