[Bumped] American Kids to McCain: "Put your teeth back in the glass and shut up."

"Paul needs to do more than pull political stunts that fire up impressionable libertarian kids in their college dorms.” said Mr. McCain - - Washington Times

Your Say

McCain is just jealous that Paul got more press coverage than him. That's all McCain is about these days, sucking up to the press.

McCain may have an "R" beside his name, but he's been sitting in a folding chair on the Democrats' side of the Senate for most of his career.

Posted by: DHH at March 7, 2013 10:52 AM

McCain actually makes a good case…for term limits.

Posted by: tim at March 7, 2013 11:26 AM

McCain could have used those libertarian votes in 2008.

Posted by: Potsie at March 7, 2013 11:53 AM

As much as I've come to despise McCain, Lindsay Graham makes me want to retch.

Posted by: JimBobElrod at March 7, 2013 1:28 PM

McCain in 2008.

Romney in 2012.

And you can't name another (R) who could have lost against the competition.

Who will we be forced to back in 2016? Who's the next sure loser?

The years at the Hanoi Hilton are defining McCain more and more. PTSD often leads to confused thinking, inabilty to make rational decisions, and guilt that drives one to want people to like you.

Yes, John, you are a hero, but it's long past time to retire.

RINO retort:, one guy offered resistance one time, it didn't fix all problems, so we aren't going to make that mistake again. Now, who can I surrender to?

Someone should contact the North Vietnamese Peoples Army and let them know their brain washing and re-education programs do in fact work.

Bill Jones: "How does murdering people who were no threat to America make you a hero?"

How does spending five years in a POW camp being regularly physically abused (actually TOTURED) by his captors make him less than a hero? I guess you would call it payback or something equally disgusting.

Yeah, I get it that you didn't support the Vietnam War and that's your right. As one who was there, the only thing I didn't support about it was our no win policy. You, of course, never heard of the strategy of containment of Communism. You believed the VC were Agrarian Reformers. You knew the Communists would turn Vietnam into a paradise. You knew they wouldn't slaughter people wholesale after we left. You knew Communism was no threat. Gee, containing Communism didn't work did it? Until it did in 1989.

He's still a hero in my book.

Yo Bill -

How old are you? Were you around when we had to make our own choices about Vietnam, or do you have the superior vantage point of learning about it from your teevy?

Growing up would seem to be the issue here, all right. If you're really older than 17, you're embarrassing yourself.

Hey folks, ignore BJ; it just wants attention. Perhaps mommy didn't breastfeed.

Well the name calling and immature comments have started, accusing someone of being a Nazi should be in a following post, it is Goodwins law.

Posted by: Potsie at March 8, 2013 6:54 AM

And it isn't Goodwin's law it is Godwin law.

Posted by: Potsie at March 8, 2013 7:15 AM

Did I ever mention I was working with Godwin when he made Godwin's Law? I didn't? Well, now I have.

Posted by: vanderleun at March 8, 2013 8:50 AM

What the feek, Potsie the Nazi kind’a has a nice ring to it.

Fiddle-faddle, fiddle-foam,
Time for McCain & Graham,
to go home.

I recall when he called teaparty supporters

"teaparty hobbits"

for me, that was the last straw.

I can no longer get angry at McCain, only pity answers, because he has become a pathetic old man.

So sad.

People are capable of thinking both that we should not have committed to Vietnam, and that the communist victory in Vietnam was a great evil. That was the conundrum of WW111, which lasted 43 years.

No American before 1861 thought that government had the right to order him into an Army. The losses of that war are still being calculated. Our first principles are no longer well suited for liberty.

John McCain has been a ruinous public character for a long time. When the reservoir of goodwill runs too deep it leeches toxins.

From my memory, it's "Twizzls twazzle, twazzle doom, time for this one to come home." I'm gonna have to break out the VHS player to see how my memory is doing.

Posted by: John A. Fleming at March 8, 2013 10:19 AM

Even Carl Levin is doing the right thing. McCain should follow his example and stop beclowning himself/

Posted by: Fat Man at March 8, 2013 10:50 AM

B.J: "Grow up!" Twice, no less. I guess you are fishing for some witty repartee or ad hominem. Sorry. I made my point. You don't agree. So sue me.

Remember that while the medical doctor can run checks, he or she can better assist you when you disclose your medical situation.

That was until the 1983 meeting of the American Urological Association
in Las Vegas. In addition, they reviewed the side effects, particularly those (for example, dizziness and fainting)
that might suggest an excessive lowering of blood pressure.
