Amnesty Sì, Amnesty No

Whether conservatives like it or not, a great many people favor amnesty, and aren’t much concerned about immigration. These may, or may not, be deluded, foolish, or culturally suicidal. It doesn’t matter. --Fred On Everything

Your Say

Amnesty, as Steve Sailer says, is just politicians electing new voters.

A while back I read a quote from the current Caliph of Turkey that goes something like: "Immigration is the trojan horse of jihad" not sure if he actually said it, or that it's quoted correctly, but in the anything-goes, UN podium-pounding Sorobama era, why not?

The most pathetic aspect of the notion of "amnesty" is the Republicans who think that by shrugging off illegal entry by 11 million Hispanics that those people will then like Republicans and vote for them.

Since Fred is a Southerner, from a good Virginia family, he can't be a WASP. However, he's picked up a good dose of WASP self-hatred, probably from spending too much time in Washington. It is probably best just to ignore this essay. Everyone fans the ball sometimes.
