Crunchy: "So THAT’S what it’s like to be eaten by a polar bear! Photographer inches from animal’s jaws as he takes wildlife shots"

Your Say
BBC or Polar Bear? No contest. I was really disappointed that the bear went away hungry.

I must have missed it. Where did it say the bear wandered away hungry?
What would make a really nice story? Taking the bear to the home offices of the BBC and turning it loose. I'd pay a dollar to watch that.

...and tourists in Yellowstone have put honey on their kids so the bears would lick them.
's true!

Unfortunately I can't post at the article's site (closed to new comments). The article had the bear weighing 1000 KG. 1,000 lbs. is more like it. Still a huge beast. Her cubs would have been disappointed with the insufficient amount of fat on the photographer. Perhaps Michael Moore could be persuaded to do a documentary on Polar Bears?
