From 2008. In case you started forgetting how insane liberals are:

obama_wizard.jpg
"€œ[M]any spiritually advanced people I know (not coweringly religious, mind you, but deeply spiritual) identify Obama as a Lightworker,
that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment. These kinds of people actually help us evolve. They are philosophers and peacemakers of a very high order, and they speak not just to reason or emotion, but to the soul. The unusual thing is, true Lightworkers almost never appear on such a brutal, spiritually demeaning stage as national politics. This is why Obama is so rare. And this why he is so often compared to Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., to those leaders in our culture whose stirring vibrations still resonate throughout our short history." -- Mark Morford, SF Gate Columnist, from a 2008 article titled: Is Obama an enlightened being?

Your Say

seriously Mark ... get a room, and make sure you wipe the Mangoo smoothie off your chin before you head back to your desk

Many of us knew it was b.s. then and said so. We were right. And it's b.s. now. People like Mr. Morford are hopeless, they'll never get it. But just maybe enough of the 52% of participating voters who put this walking, taking, hating, golfing disaster in the White House will have seen the "light" to vote him into unemployment.

Consider the source.....

A brief perusal of the oeuvre of Mork Marford reveals a borderline hysterical and self-loathing homosexual. A good indication of the levels of lunacy you're dealing with is that the "lightworker" post is pretty much the closest thing to sanity he's published.

Those people are not the real crazies, if you want to see the real crazies look for the ones that believe that Obama is working with space aliens and Jesus to bring peace and equality (a.k.a communism) throughout the world. They believe obama is a lightworker, but the space alien tie in goes well beyond that.

I wont post links but look for sites like the Planetary Activation Organization, these people take crazy to the max. There are many websites and newsletters dedicated to this. These are the same people that believe that Bush was a evil lizard changing alien.

Say what you like about him, Obama has at least taught the world this; even America has limits to what it can do. I'm not sure anyone really believed it. And I'm afraid people will forget it as soon as he's out of office.

That's what Democrats are all about, telling us about our deficiencies, usually by projecting their own onto the rest of us. What would we ever do without them? I for one would be more than willing to find out!!

Kennedy?

This is so delusional, you wonder about Markie if he " still knows how to breathe" as Bob Dylan said. As a matter of fact the chorus of that song is appropriate:

Idiot wind blowing like a circle around my skull
From the Grand Coulee Dam to Capitol
Idiot wind blowing every time you move you teeth
You're an idiot babe.
It's a wonder that you still know how to breathe.

So this is the creature that Eric Hoffer had referenced. Boy is he a real Mark.

Thank God his kind believes in Gun Control as I wouldn't trust him with one.

This is the lightmaker who banned 100 watt incandescent bulbs
only to have the free market begin making 99 watt replacements almost overnight.
Sanity will out in the long run.

Obama is a light worker.
The lightest work load of any president that I can remember. Between campaigning and golf it's a wonder anything gets done at all. On the other hand, considering his goals maybe that's a good thing.

I couldn't get through the article until after I went to the fridge and snagged a couple of fresh, boneless chicken thighs.

Then I took a deep breath, and started reading again, from the top, furiously slapping the thighs together.

Some text has to have soundtrack to make any sense at all.

If only nihilists truly did believe in nothing instead of anything, we'd all be a lot better off.

Bush, Bush would be the one who banned the 100 watt incandescent bulb.

Obama a light worker? I'll say. He's not light golfer though.

"Obama has at least taught the world this; even America has limits to what it can do."

And the proof is that we were dumb enough to elect him.

I once theorized that "Mark Morford" isn't a real, flesh-and-blood human being. Rather, "Mark" is a very clever computer program, akin to the "Postmodern Essay Generator", that spews out strings of Chopraesque New-Age psychobabble, Bay-Area Leftist cant, and obscene-phonecall slobberings, into constructions that resemble English sentences.
