The $31,208 “networking” reception featured a $19-per-person artisanal cheese display and $7,000 of sushi. At the conference’s closing-night dinner, employees received “yearbooks” with their pictures, at a cost of $8,130.

How is it even possible to spend $44 on breakfast? You have, what, 20 eggs and 30 strips of bacon?

Oh Rick, ye of little imagination. The food is free. It's the fluff job you're getting under the table that they charge for.

Reminds me of the Dangerfield line, "My old man, he was a winner. He worked in a bank, but they fired him... for stealing pens.
