On second thought, maybe the O doesn't really want to "bring the troops home."

I grumble a lot about why, in these straitened times,
our government doesn’t repatriate the tens of thousands of US soldiers garrisoning Germany, Japan, Korea, etc. When I thus grumbled out loud in the presence of a very cynical friend the other day, my friend remarked: “Perhaps the administration doesn’t want all those armed, trained personnel on US soil.” -- Can We Still Afford the Slavery Tax? - Taki's Magazine

Actually, I don't think the D's what them voting here. It's a lot harder to vote when you're overseas.

It's not harder to vote -- it's just harder to have your vote counted when your absentee ballot doesn't get to you until three days after the election...

It's also tougher to wonder what they'll do when the merde hits the ventelateur.

Yeah, a lot tougher.

Don't question me Bill. I am expert in all things. It's hard to vote when you're deployed, or stationed outside of CONUS.

Well, I'll freely admit I didn't see a single voting booth in the Zagros Mountains in three years...
