Many years ago, when I was younger, I stumbled across The Yardbirds. I liked their music and bought most of it, but I didn't read the labels. They disappeared, and I found Derek and Dominoes. Bought everything, didn't read the labels. Finally I found Cream, loved the music, read the labels.

It was then I discovered that I had been following Eric Clapton around for years. I still am.

He is in the rock and roll hall of fame for all but one of his groups and as a solo artist. Does anyone know which group is missing. Maybe the Cuervo Gold has confused me.

Without question one of the great albums of rock history. Morbid trivia: the beautiful piano coda of the song was written by the group's drummer, Jim Gordon, who would go on to murder his mother with a hammer.
