Into the Libyan Whorehouse

A Qaddafi left armed and dangerous when the dust settles is an unacceptable outcome.
Civilian planes will likely start failing out the sky, as did the one over Lockerbie; assassination attempts will multiply, like the attempted Libyan-backed murder of the Saudi king in 2003; al-Qaeda and affiliates might be aided and abetted to do Lord-knows-what to the Italians, the French, the British and, of course, to us. With nothing to lose, and way beyond the threshold of worrying about sanctions and such, Qaddafi could well become more dangerous than ever. If I were Silvio Berlusconi, in particular, I’d pick my future whorehouses with extreme care. -- Down the Rabbit Hole | The Middle East

Your Say

An exhaustive analysis, to be sure. I notice that Donald Sensing, in the comments, realizes that this is just another liberal war. Spot on.

Even better is Donald Warren's take on this same point of view. Shorter, too.

Our entire country is playing a deadly game of crack the whip, you know.

Even the hardest Lefties (incapable of shame, I know) have got to feel like a condom floating down a gutter in Castro.

"David," dammit.

David Warren.

I want to know which Peckerwood General saluted Obama and ordered the troops into action.

We need to get these political clowns out and get Officers in that understand what the Constitution means.

We'll have these oafs firing on Americans because Obama doesn't like a TEA Party rally.

If there's any justice in the world, Gaddafi's exit plane will have Megrahi as a passenger and be painted in Pan-Am livery. When Gaddafi goes to the cockpit to compliment his pilot, he'll see that he's flying in a UAV, and a clock is counting down.
