The tyranny of denial

An accusation of "denial" is serious,
suggesting either deliberate dishonesty or self-deception. The thing being denied is, by implication, so obviously true that the denier must be driven by perversity, malice or wilful blindness. Few issues warrant such confidence. The Holocaust is perhaps one, though even here there is room for debate over the manner of its execution and the number of its victims. A charge of denial short-circuits this debate by stigmatising as dishonest any deviation from a preordained conclusion. It is a form of the argument ad hominem: the aim is not so much to refute your opponent as to discredit his motives. The extension of the "denier'€ tag to group after group is a development that should alarm all liberal-minded people. One of the great achievements of the Enlightenment -- the liberation of historical and scientific enquiry from dogma -- is quietly being reversed. -- Prospect Magazine

The quote above is why nobody that loves America and it's history should ever stand silen when some pleasant commie-lib supports some commie-lib scheme or candidate. There is so much undiluted failure due to commie-lib ideas that only people deceiving you or deceiving themself can support them.

Get in their face and make them sorry they ever brought up politics. Drive them out of the public square and don't do anything to reassure them that their personal safety is guaranteed. Liberals will treat you like a slave if they aren't afarid for their own safety.

Scott, are you suggesting we be uncivil to lib-leftoids? "Civility" (translation: STFU!), is their latest byword.

I agree that metaphorically kicking them in the balls is a good idea, especially since they don't have real ones.

This link show the the best recipe for dealing with liberals. Even very smart men like Hugh Hewitt constantly ignore the truth and determination of liberals for the more pleasant, and exaspiration inducing, explanation that the liberals don't kow what harm they are delivering. When pedophiles and communists wind up in the Zero Administration it's because the vetting process wasn't very good, not because Zero has sought out the most radical inputs at every opportunity. Hewitt even played portions f Zero's "Dreams" book on the air pointing out how radical, and determined to be so, that Zero really is and then Hewitt reverts to the "liberals just don't know what they are doing meme."

It doesn't matter if the crazy person on the airliner knows that opening the emergency exit in flight will killl everyone or not. A reasonable person proposing to open the exit door would listen to the dire consequences of opening the emergency exit and then act with caution. Liberals are nothing like reasonable people. They actively ignore the consequences of their past actions and they demand that us utopian-deniers step aside and let them bring the fresh air into the aircraft cabin.

Dennis Prager has the best explanation for the commie-libs, they are religious fanatics. The active members know what they are doing and the rest of the rank-and-file commie-libs aren't concerned enough with the possible self-destruction on Western Civ to look around and see what destruction their plans have brought upon us.
