Anals of Unfortunate Phraseology

The Atlantic has just gotten a new design predicated on the concept, "The more crap we can cram on the home page the better." Unfortunately (or perhaps satisfactorily) it presents Andrew Sullivan's latest "achievement" thusly:

Something tells me that unlike the old Middle East adage, Andrew won't be flying over Kandahar with one wing across his hinder.

I thought "Man Love Thursday" in Kandahar would be right up Andrew's alley, so to speak.

And then there's the current one, "Babies With Laser Eyes". Surprisingly enough, Trig Palin is not mentioned.
