O/T-Radio is playing commercials by the greatest thespian ever Alec Baldwin!
He should do one for gun safety.

We’ll I’m looking for a Baldwin shoot school,,,,,,,, should you hear of any classes he’s instructing at.

    • Vanderleun July 16, 2022, 10:18 PM

Don’t know of any “instructing” classes but he’d be great as a fund raising target downrange.

ugh, McDonalds is gross. And poison.

You think you’re doing yourself a favor ditching the fake bread?

    • OneGuy July 17, 2022, 6:46 AM

I like McDonalds and I’m not afraid of food. But I didn’t understand the hack. I do usually take out the pickles and the lettuce isn’t all that great the buns are fine. Oh well to each their own.

MMinWA, I hear you. McDonald’s isn’t great but convenient when driving cross country. They always have stores close to a highway exit, food is marginal but reasonably priced, and the restrooms are almost always clean. Probably safer than a gas station burrito. Get a bag full of cheeseburgers, large coffee, drain the bladder and get back on the road. Maybe I will have more leisure time after I retire.

If there are any interpretations of the Lon Cheney film, I would love to hear it… it appears to be about something something something thinkers being out of step with the world something… but I’m at a loss to put my finger on it.

  • Bear Claw Chris Lapp July 17, 2022, 8:46 AM

    Good stuff Gerard.

  • Aggie July 17, 2022, 8:58 AM

@Bill in Tennessee there’s a pretty good description of the movie here:

It was based on a Russian play, a tragedy. It was a very successful film in its day.

I’m kinda fond of that “Tell Her Nothing” gal in the sidebar….

Since I can’t eat bread or anything else with wheat any more, the Big Mac hack appeals. I, too am unafraid of food. But I live in the very center of Mesa, AZ. Less than two miles away is a hobby farm, just off a couple of thoroughfares. About 12 acres, to my eye. They have horses big and miniature, alpacas, cows, turkeys, ducks and 250 chickens. The eggs are wonderful and fresh. I haven’t tried the duck eggs yet but I will, and I’ve already reserved a chicken when they slaughter next.

Oh, and if you have not attended the immersive Van Gogh show that’s around, you really should.
