I thought it was developed in Chapel Hill North Carolina?

This is economic warfare, pure and simple.
The Chinese actually knew of this in November, and did everything they could to keep it a secret for as long as possible.
Why were they arresting the doctors who were on the front line of the outbreak in Wuhan, whenever they brought it up on social media?
Why would they not let our CDC and the World Health Organization in to identify, to understand transmission rates and methods, so as to allow the world to prepare as they normally do?
Why did they start a propaganda campaign that tries to blame the US for this?
It’s because they exposed their own people and allowed this to grow, knowing that by the time it became too big to hide, it would have moved across the globe by their own people traveling and by visitors spreading it.
They knew it wasn’t so deadly as to wipe their own populace out (nor the world’s) but fast-spreading enough to cause panic, overwhelm healthcare systems, and disrupt the global economy, especially that of the USA.
And what’s a few thousand of their own dead, compared to a shooting war?
They’ve murdered tens of millions of their own before…
China has been incensed at Trump’s policies in terms of trade, his work with N Korea, and support of Hong Kong…
Oh by the way, that’s the first time you’ve heard “Hong Kong” in over a month, yes??
The comparisons to the Chernobyl event are inescapable. Communism sucks. Thanks for posting this guy Gerard. Pat Condell is always brilliant. It won’t be long before they have him banned everywhere.

Get some, Pat! Tell it!
Cucks though the English may be, every once in awhile they understand why they are the language givers. It’s to fucking speak with.

My entry for Boomer Anthem and the catalyst for my moving to the hill country after two years in the army back in the 70’s: John Prine’s “Spanish Pipedream”. Planted three peach trees and found my Lord and Savior…

You mean this one?
Gnawbone JackMarch 20, 2020, 3:10 PM
Exactly. Stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia in ’71 and ’72, playing Prine on my 6-string Epiphone and trying to make sense of it all. That refrain rang so true to me in those old wooden barracks and even more so now. .. but I was so much older then.

Gnawbone,
I mean no disrespect, but how did you ever figure out what the intended words were?
Gnawbone JackMarch 21, 2020, 2:48 AM
Rob,
Spent two long years mixing with the locals in Ludowici and Hinesville with the help of an E-3 from Brunswick (home of the stew). Transitioning from Life, Look and Post magazines; realizing Cronkite’s “And that’s the way it is.” wasn’t what was happening at all. Then, years later, I stumbled on to Rush who led me here: game, set, match.

Who Am I? by Carl Sandburg
My head knocks against the stars.
My feet are on the hilltops.
My finger-tips are in the valleys and shores of universal life.
Down in the sounding foam of primal things I reach my hands and play with pebbles of destiny.
I have been to hell and back many times.
I know all about heaven, for I have talked with God.
I dabble in the blood and guts of the terrible.
I know the passionate seizure of beauty
And the marvelous rebellion of man at all signs reading “Keep Off.”
My name is Truth and I am the most elusive captive in the universe.
Duty, Beauty, Liberty, Country, Honor, Family, Faith — Plus a few simple easy to follow rules for guys
Men saw the stars at the edge of the sea
They thought great thoughts about liberty
Poets wrote down words that did fit
Writers wrote books
Thinkers thought about it
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
Many’s the road I have walked upon
Many’s the hour between dusk and dawn
Many’s the time
Many’s the mile
I see it all now
Through the eyes of a child
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
And close your eyes
Leave it all for a while
Leave the world
And your worries behind
You will build on whatever is real
And wake up each day
To a new waking dream
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Change, change come over
Change come over
Talkin’ about a change
Change, change
Change come over, now
Change, change, change come over
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light
