I feel a bit ground upon lately myself … but I pretend all is fine until that time it gets shoved in my face it’s not. I mean right here in my face; I know it’s not fine in most of the country but until I cross that mountain that defines my valley, I can pretend it’s still REO time. Mike, the only powdered milk we are happy with has been Augason Farms.
We’ve tried several in the past but only Augason was acceptable to us.
There are several factors to consider, so if you are interested in powdered milk be prepared to try several brands.
We have about 10 cans in backstock, but day to day we use local sourced (Prairie Farms) fresh and we freeze it. Usually have at least 2 gallons on hand.

Attended Friday Republican lunch. It was supposed to be speak your mind day of the month. But, the time was “handled” in such a way that the dominant speaker was the local Republican polster with good work connections to Ronald Reagan–smart man. Talked about 2024 being the most important election ever for our Republic. When asked “what effect will the new residents who have not yet received their paperwork will have on the election”, his response was stunning. “We don’t know”. When asked “what are you doing to prepare for this?” His response was stunning–“nothing as of yet.”
I would like to remind you that this is the group that when they finally got a chance to take over my state their most important focus was “abortion”.
I suggest to you we know longer have a two party system. If you want your country and freedom back you had better start organizing another party. Don’t forget there are already two more parties that have qualified to be on the Presidential ballot in 35 (+/-) states. That is a first ladies and gentlemen. Who do you suppose is running those parties? Where is the money coming from?
For me, the question is: WTF is the R party going to do about the current situation: border, Biden, balloting systems, legal action against candidates, etc. Oh, yes, I remember now–they are gonna march forward demanding a complete ban on abortion! Yeah baby–that’s gonna save this country! My prayer is somebody somewhere will come up with one more party to make it on to the ballot–this one made up of Americans trying to claw back their democracy!
