Right about now Gerard is shaking his head wondering what happened.
Joe;
I’m still not really sure how to feel about the whole danged shootin’ match. The naive young iggle scout in me is outraged at the daily machinations of the ongoing communist insurrection, but the cynical old bastard in me draws a measure of peace from the thought that what cannot go on will not, and the ever more likely prospect that my progeny will live their lives in a land where the writ of Tegucigalpa on the Potomac no longer runs.
Then there’s the positive side.
The term, “We stand on the shoulders of giants.”
I’ve explained before how the constitution is flawed and the proof is in the gradual decline in political affairs over the past 2 centuries to where we are today. If that social contract had been composed like a standard business contract the state of the nation would be far diff than it is.
The constitution had a good run, as long as mostly moral people were at the helm, as mentioned by B Franklin. But some how society has fallen as they do at times and this exposed the tender underbelly of the constitution to be attacked by the criminal communists.
Political conditions as they are now, there is no way to remedy the flaw in the constitution unless the criminal communists are first eradicated. *Excising the vermin* will happen, in time, and that is where your progeny will be needed, to remedy the flaw(s) in that parchment under glass. If that is done then maybe Constitution II will last 500 years until the weight of clever humans brings it down again.
**My own personal perspective is that this will not happen by way of citizen uprising, directly, or even by international interference. The criminal institutions will cannibalize themselves financially while the citizens man the lifeboats striking out on their own as the top heavy parasites go down for the last time. It will be the thousands of smaller secret “nations” of the former USA that will slowly assemble over time to create a new nation based much like the old one. Think of the era between the Mayflower landing in 1620 and the signing of the constitution in 1787. A period of 167 years where “we the people” were mainly loosely organized factions but all headed in the same direction. We’ve been down this path before. Do we have the knowledge to do this again, but better?
Ghostsniper,
It is my opinion that the Constitution is just fine. It is, in my opinion, that the abject decline in morality, all stems from the corrupted seminaries that dot the landscapes of America. These seminaries produce what I call pablum pukers who do nothing but puke out the disinformation they are taught in these schools. Take the pablum pukers in the pulpits out of the drama and bring back a few good preachers who will tell it like it is and I believe that the tide would turn. FYI–the reason so many “convicts” are turning to Islam is because it clearly sets a standard which they must follow. They have never experienced the discipline that is so lacking in conventional Christianity. It was not so in the early days of our founding.
Joe, learn about contract law.
When a contract is absent the penalty aspect it will fail frequently.
Blaming the churches does you a disservice and you should know better.
ghost sniper, I would like to suggest you research the following, “Bella Dodd & the Communist Infiltration of the Catholic Church (Guest: Paul Kengor)”. The infiltration of Christian seminaries in America began in the 1930’s.
captflee, It is in how we act, how we react, how we lead. You are either a good example or not. If you can light the fire of Liberty and Freedom in just one young person then that may be the person who becomes a future leader of the free world. We may not live long enough to see it happen but rest assured, it is worth the try.
The clock strikes twelve and moondrops burst
Out at you from their hiding place
Like acid and oil on a madman’s face
His reason tends to fly away
Like lesser birds on the four winds
Like silver scrapes in May
Now the sands become a crust
And most of you have gone away
Come Susy dear, let’s take a walk
Just out there upon the beach
I know you’ll soon be married
And you want to know where the winds come from
Well it’s never said at all
On the map that Carrie reads
Behind the clock back there you know
At the four winds bar
Secret Treaties

Long but insightful essay:
https://www.agonmag.com/p/the-demon-in-americas-sacred-narrative
Conclusion:
“The United States began and completed its fateful passage as the embodiment of (divine) Orders: from a “New Order for the Ages” to the “United Nations” to a “New World Order”, and finally to a liberal “Rules-based Order”. But these so-called Orders are a simulacrum for the demon that hides deep within the American sacred narrative and within us all: a fixation with the cleansing fires of war that has driven us to overreach and on the brink of downfall.
Ours indeed is a remarkable metamorphosis: from once-exceptional American “good news”—Humanity’s redemption!—to the Unveiling of global tyranny.”
TL;DR: You’re all @#$%ing batshit crazy jihadists and need to take a good look at yourselves.
I’ve had Gerard on my mind for days now, not a clue why. Hello old friends, hoping all is well, life is treating you all at least fairly.
The pic of the colorful bug is amazing. Its colors, the texture of its hide, the detail, leaves me wondering if it’s male or female, generally in the animal world, it is the male whom is more colorful. Don’t know if that applies to bugs as well.

Durty Dawg! Welcome back!
I’m wondering what the item is between it’s belly and the plant.
Part of the plant?
Or a freeloader?
Apparently it is called a Rainbow Beetle. Oh dear.

Above is mentioned a flawed US Constitution. I’ve always held that our greatest strength is also our greatest weakness. Free speech, and you have commies flapping their yaps and always telling lies. Free Press, and anything goes. Freedom of Religion and look at the abuses that has wrought. Right to Bear Arms, notably one of the best freedoms because of the countless ties men have defended life with arms, and because they scare the shit out of the government – a benefit hard to quantify and oh so precious. Voting rights, now severely abused and anyway lots of idiots vote, and lots of idiots occupy space in DC, and in Olympia, Sacramento, etc.
Keep in mind the terrible experiment we’re undertaking is violence against the king (et all), and tread not on my citizenship. It’s not enshrined in a document as much as it is enshrined in the hearts and steady hands of violent men who stand on parapets and grimace.
That’s the built-in penalty clause, but it rests in the hands of the 337 million, and not so much the federal gubmint. I say let God decide the day.
