Schumer, of course, was born a snake and nurtured his hatred in the cesspool of Chicago politics – and is therefore easily dismissable. Feinstein, on the other hand, impressed me as a probably-principled liberal when she was in San Francisco, and it’s easy to imagine her getting a little rattled at the prospect of what she’s become.

There’s something about her that is sort of compelling. I couldn’t go with schadenfreude.
Her uncomposed state most likely was due to the ‘when you shoot at a king …’ concept and her thinking that she would have ensured her re-election had her side taken down Kavanaugh.

@BillH there are still a lot of privies in use here in rural Indiana and the amcoms that are trying to hijack the region are all up in arms about it, you know, the children and all that. Their solution is to bring in sewers that cost who-knows-how-much. They’ll ruin this place and then complain how things are and then move to another locale to start all over again, never learning anything at all. I’ve heard tell a few of them have grown ominous circled X’s in the middle of their foreheads but I haven’t seen them with my own eyes.
