No one would watch if this guy was JoBlow but people actually think that this washed out mentally retarded derelict is an American president. Even the craziest of the Left should be doing what they should to reel in this human embarrassment but what kind of choice is that with cackling Knee-Pads waiting in the wings.

Every conservative website should run this vid on a continuous loop.

  • Sam L. September 25, 2021, 8:45 AM

    That’s “our” Joe!

  • Mike Austin September 25, 2021, 9:18 AM

Nobody on earth really believes Biden is president. Many, however, say they believe so.

We are not just watching a Dog and Pony Show. We are part of it.

  • PA Cat September 25, 2021, 9:52 AM

    Mike–

You mean a Lying Dog-Faced Pony Soldier Show. I’ve also decided never again to refer to a mug of coffee as a “cuppa Joe”– there are too many other nicknames for the brew (“rocket fuel,” “Norwegian gasoline,” “morning fix,” etc.) to make it undrinkable by linking it to Him What Gives Dementia a Whole New Dimension of Meaning.

    • Mike Austin September 25, 2021, 10:02 AM

You got me there. We are mere onlookers to a vast “Theater of the Absurd”. Everyone watches it. Everyone awaits the next act. No one knows the ending, for it is not yet written.

      • Kevin in PA September 25, 2021, 11:04 AM

        It won’t be pretty.
Err… I should say, won’t get any less ugly.

  • jwm September 25, 2021, 10:44 AM

The video clip should be a study in pathos.
However, the subject is, at best, a low bred, crooked mediocrity whose best fate would have been to die in obscurity, and be forgotten. But this corrupt nothing has allowed the hidden hand to install him in the presidency through a stolen election, and so raise him to one of the highest offices on planet Earth.
Maybe he really thinks he’s in charge. He isn’t, and we all know it. He is there to humiliate the nation, and to remind us all of who is *not* in charge. As such, Biden’s deal with the Devil will earn him what he so richly deserves: to go down in history as a dismal failure, and a disgrace to the nation, and the office. Biden won’t even rise to the level of laughingstock. His name will be forever be a synonym for ineptness and corruption. He has earned the title: Worst President.

You are absolutely correct. And the suffering he will cause, continue to cause will be devastating for so many. He is a shameless hack of the worst order.

    • Mike Austin September 25, 2021, 2:09 PM

One problem: Biden is not the president.

      • gwbnyc September 27, 2021, 7:08 AM

        ^this first and foremost^

        it must be made right.

        • Mike Austin September 27, 2021, 7:24 AM

It will be. On that day there will be surprises all around.

  • PA Cat September 25, 2021, 11:05 AM

The Worst President Evah “said he plans to get a third dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine one day after public health officials gave the final approval for the booster shot. After more than a week of debate, presentations and votes by the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky gave full approval for certain Americans to receive the third shot. . . . ‘I’ll be getting my booster shot,’ [Biden] said during remarks on the pandemic at the White House. ‘It’s hard to acknowledge I’m over 65, but I’ll be getting my booster shot. I’m not sure exactly when I’m going to do it, as soon as I can get it done.'”

Not gonna ask what goes in Joe’s daily “booster shots”– only Hunter knows for sure.

  • ghostsniper September 25, 2021, 1:23 PM

Will you ever be comfortable with, or used to, your new 3rd world country existence?
You know this is the way it will be for the rest of your life, right?
    Well that’s not exactly right.
It’s just going to keep getting worse and worse.
With each passing year you will look back and lament at what is lost as.
Do you ever think about how much worse it can get?
What do you think the US will look like in 5 years? 10 years?
My only plan is to stay away from society as much as possible but that is becoming more and more difficult with each passing day as society and all of it’s filth and criminality is becoming more and more imbedded and expansive.

Eventually none of us will be able to avoid the obtrusive and criminal nature of gov’t. Each of us will be forced into a difficult corner where escape is impossible. You’ll have to make decisions where none of your options are acceptable. Even the best option will be unbearable.

Do you have a plan? Or even a remote idea?

    • Mike Austin September 25, 2021, 2:07 PM

A plan? Sure. A remote idea? Nope. Predicting the future is a sketchy task, even for one immersed in History. Black Swans might be hiding around every corner.

We need not wait for the US to devolve into a Third World-type existence. That is already here in many of our big cities. As for such a thing to overtake the productive part of the US—say, Oklahoma—certainly a decrease in what is termed “quality of life” can be expected. I would guess that the further away from big, Democrat run cities, the better. And if your state produces food and energy, better still.

Many pundits on our side pontificate as if they were Nostradamus (“Bosnia X Rwanda” and such) but the reality is…wait for it…no one knows. No. One.

Stock up on essentials, store guns and ammo and then we will see. Oh yeah: stock up on booze. Can’t hurt.

      • ghostsniper September 25, 2021, 6:42 PM

Some how, some way, you are seriously unaware of what’s going on.
With my comment, I was trying to reach a longer range of view.

        • Mike Austin September 25, 2021, 6:58 PM

Not so. I am just not as dark as you are. You sound quite miserable and pessimistic. As if you—and only you—have any idea of what is going on. Must be lonely playing Cassandra.

I look at 6000 years of History, from the Sumerians to our present day, and recall Ecclesiastes 1:9, “That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.”

You say that you were “trying to reach a longer range of view.” Ecclesiastes was written during the reign of King Solomon. Is that enough of “a longer range view”?

          • ghostsniper September 26, 2021, 4:29 AM

            Are you being deliberately obtuse?
I’m miserable? You should pay better attention.
As I’ve stated here many times, we have created our own heaven on earth.
It is the happenings out beyond the wire that concern attentive folks, and not things in the distant past. If you have anything to add in that regard please do.

          • Mike Austin September 26, 2021, 5:36 AM

            Dear ghostspiper:

            “Am I being deliberately obtuse?”

Not at all, unless—to you—mentioning the Sumerians, Solomon, Cassandra and Ecclesiastes is being “obtuse”? You really don’t know who they were?

I use my real name—Mike Austin. You use “ghostsniper”. Now, who is being obtuse?

“I’m miserable? You should pay better attention.”

Why? I never have wallowed in misery. Why should I join you in your pity party?

“It is the happenings out beyond the wire that concern attentive folks…”

“Attentive folks”? You mean “folks just like you.” Are you the new Illuminati? (Oops, I used a big obtuse word again!)

“…and not things in the distant past.”

From your writing I see that you are innocent of History. That “things in the distant past” have no use for you. Ok then. No wonder that my writing seems “obtuse” to you.

“If you have anything to add in that regard please do.”

            I just did.

    • EX-Californian Pete September 26, 2021, 12:41 PM

      Ghost-
You gotta admit that you do kinda come off as angry and belligerent in quite a few of your posts here. Things like your “600 fist holes in the drywall” comment, and telling us that we’re totally doomed, there’s no hope, and our only option is to hide in some remote “corner where escape is impossible.”

Yeah, we know you say some of that stuff in jest, but it’s sometimes hard to discern one from the other.

A while back I was asked what my plans to fight Socialism/Liberalism/NWO are, and I posted them.
Then I asked you in kind what YOUR plans were, but you gave no answer- other than the above- “to stay away from society as much as possible.”

Below, you posted “Most people choose the easy path, nobody, it seems, likes to swim uphill. The “system” takes advantage of that fact. They will sell out anyone to avoid confrontation or complication. They just want to blob out on the couch.”

Doesn’t “staying away from society as much as possible” just accomplish the very same results as “blobbing out on the couch?”

And though you stated below that you’ve “have created your own Heaven on Earth,” it seems your version of “Heaven” is a place devoid of any hope or optimism.
No offense intended, but that doesn’t sound too “heavenly” to me.

      • ghostsniper September 26, 2021, 7:37 PM

How in the world do people get this way?
Pete, I have been a business owner for 35 years, that means I must deal with people. Quite a bit. I have to have associates do that which I cannot do myself. Quite a bit. I have to consult with clients, contractors, realtors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and on an on. Almost every dam day. Yes, even today – sunday. I have worked at least a few hours every day of the week for 35 years straight through, never a vacation at all. The only exceptions have been when we moved to another location and severe injury or illness. As a rule I don’t do vacations because my work, my livelihood, my very life, is a vacation of sorts.

I don’t do clocks much, nor calendars, and certainly not watches. The passage of time, on a minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day measure does me know benefit so I stopped using them in the 80’s. They drag on the enjoyment I find in my work.

I can’t help, nor do I give a shit, how other people perceive me. For me it is sort of a dual purpose to my writing here and elsewhere. Calisthenics’ of the written word and a way to gather otherwise obscure information.

What I’ve noticed over the years is how different people interpret words and that no matter the simplistic nature of the words about one fourth of the time they are interpreted differently than written. 2 people can read the same book and whole different outcomes. shrug
        I just don’t care.
You made up that part about “no hope”, you’ve never seen me write that. ever.
Same with the word “hide”, never happened.
You’ve developed a pattern here of just making stuff up, like CNN.

BTW, the easiest holes to fix in drywall are made with a BB gun.

        • EX-Californian Pete September 27, 2021, 11:23 AM

OK, Here’s direct and exact quotes from your posts-

          >”Will you ever be comfortable with, or used to, your new 3rd world country existence?
          >You know this is the way it will be for the rest of your life, right?
          >Each of us will be forced into a difficult corner where escape is impossible.
          >Even the best option will be unbearable.
          >It’s just going to keep getting worse and worse.”

SO, does any of that appear to display even a tiny glimmer of HOPE?
No, it does not. It’s all “doom & gloom” stuff, as if everything is “hopeless.”

Also- “My only plan is to stay away from society as much as possible”…
You’re right- you didn’t actually use the word “hide,” I did, because your “plan” fits the definition of the word “hide.”

          HIDE-
          transitive verb
1a : to put out of sight : secrete
b : to conceal for shelter or protection : shield
          2 : to keep secret
3 : to screen from or as if from view : obscure

          intransitive verb
1 : to remain out of sight she hid under the bed
2 : to seek protection or evade responsibility

I understand that you’re self-employed and as you stated-have to “deal” with a variety of people. So did I when self-employed as licensed (A & B) Building Contractor. I currently “deal” with folks nowadays in my gunsmithing and stockmaking work.
          And socially, too.
We all have to “deal” with people daily- whether by email, phone, mail, in person, etc.

So, what I gather from what you’ve written, your plan is to deal with people for the time being, then later execute your plan to sequester, correct?

And although fascinating to read, I don’t find any actual connection with your aversion to clocks, watches, and calendars to the topics above. Maybe you could elaborate a bit on that?

As for the reference to patching BB gun holes in drywall, I’ve never felt the urge to punch or shoot holes in my drywall, but thanks for the info.

          • ghostsniper September 27, 2021, 1:40 PM

You’re being deliberately argumentative. Yes, I described a dark immediate future, that’s why I suggested ideas from others about how they were going to approach the coming escalation of tyranny. How can anyone deny the past year or so as anything but dark?

Yes, our world is largely what we make of it, but that’s not the part I am speaking of. I am speaking of the parts that we don’t get to control but are being thrust upon us.

As you may have picked up in other comments I have made, about 7000 afghan refugees are housed on an army facility about 15 miles from here. That concerns me. Then, just this morning about read about another army base in another state with 10,000 afghani’s and several of them have escaped and committed capital crimes.

Tomorrow will darker than today and anyone denying this is not paying attention. Seems some people on this blog are thinkers and could offer opinions. Maybe I was wrong. As far as the drywall thing, you seem to get your knickers in a twist over the slightest little meaningless thing and this is because you harbor some sort of grief over the thrashing you were issued awhile back. That’s your fault because you acted like an errant schoolchild and I treated you as one. Perhaps that is your real personna. shrug

          • EX-Californian Pete September 27, 2021, 2:33 PM

This is a reply to Ghost’s post below- since there’s no “reply” button for it.

Ghost- OK, Tell me WHAT part I’m “arguing” with. I posted 5 quotes from you, followed by a (yet unanswered) question, then a fact.
I confirmed the use of the word “hide” was indeed mine, then posted the definitions to prove my point.

Then an understanding/confirmation of your self-employment/dealings, followed by what was gathered from your posts, WITH a question if it was correct. (and as usual, no answer)

Why bring up the Afghan refugees? It wasn’t any part of our previous discussion.
But yes- it is a concern for all of us. And yes, it sucks. But off-topic.

You say “Tomorrow will (be) darker than today and anyone denying this is not paying attention.”
Sorry, not even close for me- each of my days is better than the last, despite all the evil and crazy going on in the world. And that’s a fact. I don’t harbor anger and fear any more- those two useless burdens are long gone from my life.

A “thrashing” you say? Right….Is that yet another referral to the Godel’s Equation post that you refused to check out? Should I post our entire conversation on it again?

By the way- thrashing is defined as “a severe beating.” That only happens in person, in the real world.

            • Vanderleun September 27, 2021, 2:54 PM

Okay I’ve opened up a few more levels of reply now. The problem is that when the levels get deep the cast of the line is harder and harder to read.

              • EX-Californian Pete September 27, 2021, 4:50 PM

                Thanks, Gerard.

And for Ghost- I have a post for you in the “Just. Press. Play.” article, and I bet it’s not something you might expect.

  • EX-Californian Pete September 25, 2021, 2:51 PM

It’s finally clear to me- now I know who Joe’s public speaking coach was- Porky Pig.
They share the exact same speech patterns.

    See for yourself-

    • Mike Austin September 25, 2021, 3:16 PM

Except that Porky makes more sense. And unlike Biden, Porky does not crap in his pants.

      • EX-Californian Pete September 26, 2021, 11:56 AM

        Mike-

And Porky is actually useful- he provides entertainment and laughter, while Joe only provides destruction and division.
Joe doesn’t stop at just crapping his pants- he’s also crapping on every American citizen and their rights.

        • Mike Austin September 26, 2021, 2:41 PM

You have me there. But I am now in a mental space where the entire circus in Washington DC seems like a traveling troupe of male prostitutes, cross dressers, killers, the deranged and the sexually degenerate. I read the news, and laugh. Sometimes out loud. How can one not? It is so bizarro world, so absolutely crackers, so rabid, and has not one iota of a relationship to reality.

Biden would like to crap on me, but I have a fine umbrella. Besides, Biden and his circus act is temporary. He will bow out naturally or not, and then comes the next scene.

          Even Porky would be shocked.

  • Thud Muffle September 25, 2021, 5:59 PM

Lotta people with mega stuff to answer for.

  • Casey Klahn September 25, 2021, 8:04 PM

Is anybody still ridin with Biden? Anybody? Buhler?

I am dark and pessimistic, but I have moments when I wonder if I may wake up and read a headline that says that Arizona just decertified 2020. Whether that’s good or not, or whether it’s the end of times, I have no fukn idea.

Then, my mind goes back to Australia. Those fux are living the Sixties Dystopian Sci Fi TV shows we all watched as kids. For real. “Do you plan, or do you discuss with anybody, the possibility of going to a protest?” “How did my name get on your list?”

Watched a female US Navy surgeon on a vid today. She states that 20…twenty…that’s 2 sets of 10, military personnel died of (or with?) Covid during the pandemic. Of the whole muthafuggin military, 20. Then, she goes on about how more have had complications from the vax, and she goes ahead and say the shit. She says it: more died from the vax than the disease in the military. Why is there a mandate for the vax in the military? To push out the core, is the reason. Mao used teenagers, and Pol Pot used teenagers, to kill those kilt in the Cultural Revolution, and the Killing Fields in Cambodia.

If we are yet spared this cup, it will be by an outright miracle. But, I fear it will be by blood.

    • Mike Austin September 25, 2021, 8:11 PM

Of course it will be by blood. That is the only acceptable currency.

But I would prefer that miracle you mentioned.

At any rate, Onward Christian Soldiers.

      • Casey Klahn September 26, 2021, 12:11 AM

        Amen, and amen.

        • ghostsniper September 26, 2021, 4:32 AM

          • Mike Austin September 26, 2021, 12:47 PM

Agreed. Such absolute nonsense—against God, against biology, against Natural Law, against reason, against Logic, against human nature, against a man’s own senses—simply cannot go on. It’s like a man who brags that he does not need air to survive, and then holds his breath to prove it.

As in the phrase, “One cannot go on will not go on.”

But oh my! When it all comes crashing down, what a tremendous mess will that be! Humpty Dumpty’s “all the king’s horses and all the king’s men” will not have the slightest clue of what goes where.

  • Annie Rose September 26, 2021, 6:34 AM

Our two millennials shockingly voted for Biden, because their generation believed all the fake news about what a misogynist he was. We talked to them before Election Day until we were blue in the face, but what do two “old
fossils” really know? They found Trump’s frank speech and boisterousness offensive and did what their friends did-voted for this POS. Remember, this is the triggered generation. They and all of their friends now admit that Biden is a total disaster, but they can’t bring themselves to admit that Trump would have been so much better. Their friends really believed that Biden would pay off all of their college loans and cared about minorities and all the rest of the hogwash. Just like when we buy a lemon of a car, it’s a rare person who will admit that the car is a lemon and that they should have bought a different car. They will scrape up something positive to say about it.

  • Mike Austin September 26, 2021, 7:23 AM

I’ve come across many stories like this. It breaks the heart, but what is one to do? Hope that Millennials will one day see through the dark glass? Possibly, sure—but the damage is already done.

Perhaps, as some have already said, it is time to move beyond elections as these have no point at all. As Stalin said, it is he who counts the votes that matters. As we have just seen with “president” Biden.

As for someone admitting wrong doing: That is indeed a rare talent. I can only muster the strength to conjure this up on rare occasions. Alas.

  • Dirk September 26, 2021, 8:30 AM

When asking leftist how Biden’s working out for them, it seems I get the same answer from every single one. “I hate Trump” I laugh and prod them to now answer the question, grudgingly they admit he’s a looser, probably the worst ever.

If I’m being a dick, I ask what Trump had to do with that?

It’s interesting, most on the left, when open frank conversation can be had, point out that its most likely Obama running the show, from the comfort of his basement. All his playa’s are in the key positions. And they/them recognize this is just a third term for the idiot.

As I say often, not a dam thing has changed on our mountain. The Entire family rented the Warner Mountain Ski Resort, outside of Lakeview Oregon where we are all gathered for a giant party and strategy planning.

Some of the ThunderRanch crew stopped by for a beers last night, that world famous shoot school is maybe a mile down the mountain.

Confirmed Clint and Heidi have the ranch on the market for 6.5 mil.

  • John Venlet September 26, 2021, 8:30 AM

I’ve come across many stories like this. It breaks the heart, but what is one to do? Hope that Millennials will one day see through the dark glass?

Mike, what disturbs me, even more than just the Millennials, is the fact that many professing Christians voted for Biden, and that they also mindlessly support the social programming (socialism) pedaled by the political class and they large supporting cast of characters (media, education, etc.). They seem to prefer attempting to legislate morality, rather than to live morally.

    • Mike Austin September 26, 2021, 9:54 AM

It is disturbing. I would suggest that such “Christians” are no longer—if they ever were—Christians in any meaningful sense of the term. Oh…I can hear the shouting now from such men, “How dare you try to tell me what a real Christian is!” Trouble is, Christ laid out what a Christian should be. No amount of hurt feelings or jumping up and down or ranting, raving and screaming will change that fact.

It was also well laid out in “Mere Christianity”.

One ‘tell’ as you know is if a self-proclaimed “Christian” voted for Biden—or for any politician who supports abortion or sexual degeneracy. For sure that person can say—and will say—something like, “Well, I supported Biden but I do not support abortion.” As if that gets them off the hook. A Jew who voted for the Nazi Party deserves the boxcar, the camp and the ovens.

It is as Christ said, “When I return will I find any faith on earth?” He also said the most terrifying words in any language: “Get away from Me. I never knew you.”

“Christians for Biden!” Hell laughs and opens its doors.

      • PA Cat September 26, 2021, 11:10 AM

Mike– If you haven’t already read it, you might be interested in an essay posted by Albert Mohler, Jr., president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Nashville. Titled “A Profile of Moral Collapse,” it is a lengthy but detailed account of the “devout Roman Catholic” Biden’s abandonment of Christian pro-life teaching– “The story of President Joe Biden’s slippery shape-shifting on the abortion issue is both revealing and horrifying.” Mohler clearly did his homework in tracing the timeline of Biden’s surrender of soul in order to gain the world (Mark 8:36).
Anyway, here is the link: https://albertmohler.com/2021/09/08/a-profile-of-moral-collapse-president-biden-abortion-and-the-culture-of-death

It’s telling, isn’t it, that the divide is no longer between Protestant and Catholic or between different Protestant groups, but between those who take the Faith once delivered to the saints seriously and those who do not.

Thank you for the Mohler link. I just read him. His tale of Biden’s abandonment of Catholic Doctrine could just as well be said about Cuomo or Kerry or Pelosi—and on and bloody on. When I see these beasts take into their mouths the Body and Blood of Christ I want to—and I have done so in private—scream bloody Hell. Imaginings of multiple autos-da-fe come to mind.

I doubt very much if a creature like Biden really ever was a believing Catholic. His lies about his own life and his corruption began right after he entered the public arena. His “Catholicism” was always just a skinsuit; Biden himself a mere degenerate shapeshifter.

As is the “Catholicism” of perhaps ninety percent of US Catholic Bishops. These greasy and well-fed depravities, in the words of Michael Voris, “…will either throw off their diabolical masters in this life, or serve them forever in the next.”

And Bergoglio is as much “Pope” as Biden is “President”. Benedict XVI is the Pope.

I say all this as a Latin Mass believing cradle Catholic.

“It’s telling, isn’t it, that the divide is no longer between Protestant and Catholic or between different Protestant groups, but between those who take the Faith once delivered to the saints seriously and those who do not.”

Very true. The differences in Theology among believers hardly matters when we see the Face of Christ. When I stand—no, when I am on my knees— before Him He will not ask me how many Rosaries I had said, but rather had I fed the hungry, clothed the naked, comforted the widow and her children? My God, what will I say?

The enemy of Christians is the World, not each other.

This is very true, Mike, very true, and is very important, especially today, most pointedly in the differences in theology department.

Of interest on the subject, see Numbers 11:26-29, Mark 9:38-41, Luke 9:49-50.

Thank you kindly for the passages. I read them first thing this morning. A good way to start a day, I think. Especially with coffee in hand.

(Inside baseball: My Bible of choice—and odd phrase I know—is the Catholic Revised Standard Version, the RSV. It is a 1901 revision of the King James. The King James once included the Apocrypha, though these were not considered Divinely inspired.)

I once regularly engaged in lively debate with Protestants, Muslims, Jews and so on. While spending ten years teaching in Argentina, during the first year (1993) I taught Philosophy. I invited an Imam, a Catholic priest, an Orthodox Rabbi and a Protestant preacher over the course of the week, and each made his case admirably. The students enjoyed themselves: for once not having to listen to me; and being able to engage with knowledgeable representatives of various faiths. Discussions were lively but never heated.

Once I returned to the US I taught 8th grade at a charter school in Oklahoma City. The superintendent was a Bible believing Protestant who was not afraid to demonstrate her faith. For me “it was the best of times.” I spoke about Scripture regularly. Towards the end of my 15 years there—my final two years—the administration changed. It became “the worst of times”. Speaking out about Christianity became hazardous. In my final year I was threatened by a board member because I had said to a 7th grade class that “men and women are different”. Unemployment and legal action were placed on the table. This very silly woman did not yet know that I had already resigned and would soon begin retirement. Her daughter was in my class and was a delightful child, but was in therapy. I wonder why?

Nowadays at 68 and retired—thankfully—from teaching, I no longer have the opportunity or desire to do such things. All men, no matter what they affirm on earth, will one day stand before God. Such things are His business, not mine.

I keep always close to my soul the words of Saint Francis: “Teach the Bible always. If necessary, use words.”

Most people choose the easy path, nobody, it seems, likes to swim uphill. The “system” takes advantage of that fact. They will sell out anyone to avoid confrontation or complication. They just want to blob out on the couch.

I thank God daily that neither myself or my close friends are “most people,” and that we have zero tolerance for the weak-minded and willfully ignorant. (AKA Libtards)

O the irony, Biden Weak????. Brothers and Sister’s have a quick look in the mirror, weak is what is staring back at you. Me you, we’ve allowed this, to happen. And we with righteous indignation proclaim the system, the minions on the field weak.

    Fucking pathetic.

Me you, we’ve allowed this, to happen.
      =======
You can admit to that if you want but I had nothing to do with any of it.

Ghost you get extra credit, for at least trying! Thus far I’ve graded myself a big fat F. I’m a hypocrite, and I hate myself for it.

      Can I join you?

The Priests who have taken my Confession over the years usually finish by saying, “Mike, you are too hard on yourself.” Perhaps. But then if I don’t beat up on myself who will? I am unmarried, so that option is out.

      • PA Cat September 27, 2021, 3:03 PM

Mike, all you need to beat up on yourself is a Prog roommate/next-door neighbor of any of the current 57 genders.

        • Mike Austin September 27, 2021, 5:13 PM

Damn. I have no roommates, but…damn. I live in an apartment building, four dwellings per unit. My neighbors are either known only by name or completely anonymous. I am known throughout the complex as “that crazy old long-haired guy with a gun.”

Suits me. Scares them. Which suits me.

Now now, before we start one-upping each other on putting ourselves down may I remind all and sundry that when you put yourself on trial the verdict is always “Guilty.”

  • Dirk September 28, 2021, 7:58 AM

GV, ALWAYS! Points to you sir.

It is said that a man MUST know his weaknesses far more deeply then his strengths to make it out alive. Of this I agree.
