Who Am I? by Carl Sandburg
My head knocks against the stars.
My feet are on the hilltops.
My finger-tips are in the valleys and shores of
universal life.
Down in the sounding foam of primal things I
reach my hands and play with pebbles of
destiny.
I have been to hell and back many times.
I know all about heaven, for I have talked with God.
I dabble in the blood and guts of the terrible.
I know the passionate seizure of beauty
And the marvelous rebellion of man at all signs
reading “Keep Off.”
My name is Truth and I am the most elusive captive
in the universe.

The Vault
Take It Where You Find It
Men saw the stars at the edge of the sea
They thought great thoughts about liberty
Poets wrote down words that did fit
Writers wrote books
Thinkers thought about it
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
Many’s the road I have walked upon
Many’s the hour between dusk and dawn
Many’s the time
Many’s the mile
I see it all now
Through the eyes of a child
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
And close your eyes
Leave it all for a while
Leave the world
And your worries behind
You will build on whatever is real
And wake up each day
To a new waking dream
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Change, change come over
Change come over
Talkin’ about a change
Change, change
Change come over, now
Change, change, change come over
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light

She seems nice.
*chortle*. Julie ‘s right.
What are the chances our thoughtful, articulate video commenter is a privileged white woman?
Also, gentlemen, if I may inquire about a matter of taste—what do you think are the chances she will ever be in a position to contemplate having an abortion? If I were a man I wouldn’t go within 50 yards of her. I refer not to her looks—beauty, as well as presentability, really is in the eye of the beholder. I refer to her disposition. What say you, gentlemen?
From across the room, I would see no reason to engage that person. But that’s just me. I’m naturally anti-everything, especially assholes.
I want to know, did her face become her personality or was her personality dragged down by her face?
If she’s worried about an unwanted pregnancy, I have some good news for her.
Spitting image of one of my sisters, sounds like her too when she doesn’t get her way. Lucky she’s not related to you. And …
THATS’ the reason I’m afraid of getting Red Flagged!
There’s an excellent surgery the veterinarians use to keep bitches from barking.
Abortion is certainly not healthcare but cutting this witches’ vocal cords would be.
That pasty faced ranter looks kind of like a modified version of Rosie O’ and I do love that they post their tantrums for the world to see. Rest assured, some future employer will see this, remember it and Karen won’t get hired at the Piggly-Wiggly.
Out here in the fields
She’ll fight for her meals
She’ll get her back into her living
She will need to fight
To eat that night
She won’t need to be forgiven
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Weird…she(?) doesn’t believe in God, but she “prays” that Karma is gonna get the Supreme Court conservatives? Please explain, dear, and show your work.
In her case, I think they should make abortion retrospective.
