Who Am I? by Carl Sandburg
My head knocks against the stars.
My feet are on the hilltops.
My finger-tips are in the valleys and shores of
universal life.
Down in the sounding foam of primal things I
reach my hands and play with pebbles of
destiny.
I have been to hell and back many times.
I know all about heaven, for I have talked with God.
I dabble in the blood and guts of the terrible.
I know the passionate seizure of beauty
And the marvelous rebellion of man at all signs
reading “Keep Off.”
My name is Truth and I am the most elusive captive
in the universe.
Duty, Beauty, Liberty, Country, Honor, Family, Faith — Plus a few simple easy to follow rules for guys
The Vault
Take It Where You Find It
Men saw the stars at the edge of the sea
They thought great thoughts about liberty
Poets wrote down words that did fit
Writers wrote books
Thinkers thought about it
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
Many’s the road I have walked upon
Many’s the hour between dusk and dawn
Many’s the time
Many’s the mile
I see it all now
Through the eyes of a child
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
And close your eyes
Leave it all for a while
Leave the world
And your worries behind
You will build on whatever is real
And wake up each day
To a new waking dream
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Change, change come over
Change come over
Talkin’ about a change
Change, change
Change come over, now
Change, change, change come over
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light

I LOVE IT! LOL!
I started the day in Mesa, where folks are following the forensic audit of the Maricopa county ballots. Then I drove to El Centro, forgetting that El Centro is in California. Walking into Best Buy reminded me as the door guard told me I Needed To Put The Mask On.
The stretch of I-8 west of Yuma is very interesting. The border is less than a mile from the highway. There is a lot of stuff going on in that space. I watched some vehicles maneuvering to avoid the Border Patrol, while trying to look like they weren’t doing that. I mean, lots of people just pull off the freeway into the desert with their RV and make camp. So theoretically these guys weren’t border bad people. I also think the Border Patrol has your theoretically right here, buddy.
I sat down in a restaurant and a waitress brought me a plate of food. In California. Now they’ve been doing that in Arizona since July or earlier, but California is California.

Best coffee ever!
Has BRCC ever apologized for what they did regarding the Kyle Rittenhouse situation or has everyone already forgot about it?
I see the House passed a bill to, unconstitutionally, make D.C. a state. I think maybe it’s time to cut Texas and Alaska into quarters creating 6 more states to counter.
I haven’t forgotten about Kyle, and I haven’t reconsidered my subscription cancellation. Pussies.
But… “That AOC’s got some pretty good ideas” L O L.
Gerard,
That was “patriotically hilarious.” BRAVO!
Even better, I watched it on my laptop while sitting here at my reloading bench, cranking out some fresh .45-70 and .30-06 rounds with home-cast, powder coated projectiles.
God bless America.
