Don’t worry. Our federal government will fix it by spending 100 billion to put in charging stations all over the place. It makes you wonder why anyone believes this is sustainable or better.

Electric car? Never leave home without your 375 mile long extension cord.

Well, there are people of all 57 genders all over the world (judging from their license plates) who contrive to pull away from gas station pumps with the umbilical cord from the pump still attached to their cars. In one case (about 3:15 in this video), the entire gas station starts to burn; in the example at 5:00, part of the station’s structure collapses:

I wonder whether the Tesla crowd has managed to take out any charging stations yet.

Actually I don’t believe that you can move a EV with a dead battery with the juice being supplied by the charge port.
And building a 100,000 charging stations is useless without (reliable) new electrical generating capacity of another hundred Nuclear power plants.
      And the band played on.

The Federals involving themselves in charging station decisions, what a joke. We didn’t need no Feds to bring gas stations, fuels refining and delivery, to everywhere and everybody, private enterprise did that.
The Federals must think they need a 5-year plan and a command economy to make EV’s happen. Same old commie evil, it never works. “Get the hell out of my way!”
