Who Am I? by Carl Sandburg
My head knocks against the stars.
My feet are on the hilltops.
My finger-tips are in the valleys and shores of
universal life.
Down in the sounding foam of primal things I
reach my hands and play with pebbles of
destiny.
I have been to hell and back many times.
I know all about heaven, for I have talked with God.
I dabble in the blood and guts of the terrible.
I know the passionate seizure of beauty
And the marvelous rebellion of man at all signs
reading “Keep Off.”
My name is Truth and I am the most elusive captive
in the universe.

The Vault
Take It Where You Find It
Men saw the stars at the edge of the sea
They thought great thoughts about liberty
Poets wrote down words that did fit
Writers wrote books
Thinkers thought about it
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
Many’s the road I have walked upon
Many’s the hour between dusk and dawn
Many’s the time
Many’s the mile
I see it all now
Through the eyes of a child
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
And close your eyes
Leave it all for a while
Leave the world
And your worries behind
You will build on whatever is real
And wake up each day
To a new waking dream
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Change, change come over
Change come over
Talkin’ about a change
Change, change
Change come over, now
Change, change, change come over
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light

Okay…. NOW I’ve seen everything.
So THAT’s how they did it!
Dress a cat up as a T-rex and put a zip tie on it’s tail to piss it off.
The magic’s in the zip tie.
That’s the name of my new band.
If ghostsniper really wants to know how they did it, Owlkitty’s humans posted a video (which is much longer than the vid itself) showing their work behind the scenes:

You just knew the humans involved in this are denizens of Portland, Oregon. Catdad is a refugee from Macron-land who lived in The Hive for 10 years and makes videos for the ACLU. Catmom “is a creative writer and content editor, and brand strategist. She studied fiction at the Tin House Summer Workshop and is currently ghostwriting OwlKitty’s forthcoming autobiography.” According to their website, “OwlKitty is a free agent and looking to partner with a brand as cool as she is.”
I think Gerard should coax/bribe Olive to pose on one of his “Just Say No” T-shirts for an even cooler brand.
OK, I’m gonna have to check some of these out.
So far, OwlKitty has made appearances in such classics as Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, How to Train your Dragon, The Shining, Titanic, 50 Shades of Gray and Risky Business. You can also find her in Game of Thrones, The Lion king and Stranger Things.
Looks like Olive!
I have to admit, after getting rid of TV, and no longer able to listen to my internet streaming radio…it’s a brick now, watching Owl Kitty, The Girl With The Dogs, Abroad in Japan, and Sam the Cooking Guy are much better offerings than cable or network TV. Haven’t seen a movie for years, but I can’t miss Sanity 4 Sweden, either.
I vass amussssssssed…Gerard….
