Noted in Passing: Interview with a Man without a Television

Carlson: “I don’t have a television. I don’t go on the internet. I don’t use social media. I’m pretty insulated from that stuff.”

Rubin: “You don’t check Twitter? Don’t have a television?”

Carlson: “I’ve never had a tv. I didn’t grow up like that and my dad worked in tv when I was a kid and he was pretty pro-reading. I would say he was a militant reading person. so yeah we had a lot of enforced reading in our house and so yeah that’s how I grew up.”

Don’t worry, toastsniffer will have some bland predictable negative comment to make about Carlson. On top of that he’ll brag about “what caliber round he’s going to use” to idly threaten me. Ho hum.

Recent Carlson interview of Curtis Yarvin.

    Yarvin isn’t to everyone’s taste I know. Still… perspective-broadening and all that.

Thank you for the link on Curtis Yarvin. Watched the whole thing. AD broadens my insight and the commenters do too.

I am 71 and have never owned a TV. I made that decision in 1965
