    Feral humans. Next: zombies.

    Nice job, Hollywood. Stay classy.

Presumably law enforcement watched and allowed this as it developed. City officials permit it to go on, despite it violating any number of building, safety, and health codes. Just one more manifestation of Entropy and its ceaseless assault on order.

The noise level is unbearable. How in the world do people live like that?

I have tried to find information about the PCR test for Coronaviris, specifically what is the standard number of replication cycles used to determine a positive result. Can anyone provide a link? I searched the CDC site, that tells you how to take the sample for example, but I found nothing like “Run X cycles, and if nothing shows, consider it a negative result.” I would hope there is a national standard, but I can’t find it!

This has some of the data, if not a full scientific article. The guy mentioned has the poop on the deviations re: ChinaVirus testing and its threshold for trust.

    Casey and Ghost-

To me, they are neither “people” or “humans.”
    They’re SUBhumans.

And they should be deported to Mexico, as an “exchange program” (or payback) for all the illegal aliens that have invaded the USA.

had a smaller installation in NYC, a tented structure big enough for one person made
around a light pole, corner of Houson St&6th Avenue. guy had his platform bike chained near it. now gone.

    “the noise” -yeah, and constant.
“worse” -rats. all over, rats. rats. rats.
    …and waterbugs.

I see this place all the time. It is on a main thoroughfare to the freeway. Thousands of cars pass by everyday. I have noticed in my area too, many homeless dwellings are now more fortified and bigger. I guess they think they cannot be moved. Lately some arm of government has actually been moving some homeless out. Not sure who is doing it. There is actually our Sheriff Villanueva who is taking action as well. This is an anomaly.

    people peopling

  • Skorpion July 19, 2021, 9:05 AM

@Ghost: Someone once said that the constant noise *literally drives homeless people insane*. It prevents them from getting deep REM sleep; deprived of this, the brain and CNS start to misfire badly. It ain’t just pre-existing conditions, drugs, and/or booze behind the lunacy you see on urban streets every day.

I find these videos of LA to be very useful. I can see various landmarks….and it reinforces my belief that it is ‘over and done’ there. I doubt that I could be paid real US money to go there. The filth, the noise, the ugliness of the place is sad. I grew up with the fable that California was ‘the’ place to be and LA was the center of the universe….beautiful people and all that. How people who loved the city and state could do this to themselves is beyond all understanding. I moved from Missouri to eastern Washington (family thing….and no humidity!) and now find myself surrounded by Californians (and Seattleites) and it’s not a good feeling. I am fairly certain they brought their political habits along with their over-abundance of real estate money. I love the bumper stickers I see in Idaho: Don’t California My Idaho. We need some in Spokane County!

Greetings, Dinah. I guess we’re neighbors. My family and our property are a safe haven if the balloon goes up, for right-thinking patriots. I expect several families worth of my friends from the Seattle area. Conservatives, gun owners, Christians.
My viewpoint is that there is a great swatch of land east of the Cascades, and running all the way to the MidWest, and down to half of the SW, of 2A counties and states. lefty would not fare very well if he ever visits The Hole In The Wall Gang that lives here.
People may have to sort themselves out within that area.
