A reasonably polite way to say “Sorry, not sorry. GFY.”

Musk claims that the Russian people do not want any invasion of Ukraine. I wonder how he can possibly know that? Short answer: He cannot. It is one thing to “support Ukraine”—whatever that means—quite another to appoint yourself a spokesman for 145,000,000 Russians.

It is common for an obvious genius—and Musk is certainly of of those rara aves—to come to believe that his genius encompasses all fields and disciplines. It does not and it cannot. Like all men, whether genius or idiot, on occasion Musk says dumb things.

There is another thing about geniuses: They try really, really hard to appear normal. Musk can actually pull this off from time to time.

MA: It is one thing to “support Ukraine”—whatever that means…
The first thing it means is he has prioritized the resources of the largest space presence and satellite communications provider on earth to increase (requested) ground-links in Ukraine and keep the satellite links over Ukraine and Russia fully operational by defeating attempts to jam them.

MA: …quite another to appoint yourself a spokesman for 145,000,000 Russians…
The Russian people? Thousands are demonstrating against this war (and getting arrested) despite new laws outlawing demonstrations, broadcasts, or opposing the war in any way.

Musk probably has said ‘dumb things’, but you haven’t brought anything to the table.

Musk bringing satellite internet to Ukraine now allows the people there to know when their government has surrendered. Good for Musk!

About those “thousands of Russian demonstrators”: If true, then so what? Thousands out of a population of 145,000,000? How’s your math?

“Musk probably has said ‘dumb things’, but you haven’t brought anything to the table.” What, now I have to do your homework for you?

I hope Musk and Zenlenskyy don’t pay you much for being their shill. You aren’t very good at it.

Don’t think there’s a whole lot of shilling going on here. And I’ll give Musk a pass for being hyperbolic… he is working in a medium that once was limited to 240 characters.
