Is this mano-a-mano strokefest getting out of hand?

Looks like thumb-wrestling to me.

Nah. That's the secret Marxists handshake.

And where is the picture of Bush holding hands--not shaking, holding--with the the Saudi Prince?

What would you suggest that Obama do? Ignore him? Punch him in the mouth? Kick him in the balls?

You right-wingers are just a swarm of simplistic mouth-breathers.

A pile of idiots.

Hey Eddie, speaking of mouths and balls, I suggest you go to the Teabagging rally at Anderson Cooper's house.

I bet Eddie knows the secret handshake.

Oh Eddie; why so ... serious?

You've won. And we all know that Better People are gracious in victory, right?

Eddie, aren't you one of the good and wise who stands ready to lead all the... well, you said it, the rest of us "mouth breathers", lead us into that event horizon of Hope and Change?

I admit, I am pretty confused. I don't see how four trillion dollars of fiat money dropping into what is still essentially a market economy cannot help but to destroy the value of goods and services as we understand them today. Or on the flip side, what allowing the Federal bureaucracy to assume the authority of multiple corporations' boards without making it responsible as well strikes me as insanity. And when the president of France indicts a U.S. president for weakness... and not even CNN contradicts him, well, you have to think that maybe other leaders in other places, some much less nice than Paris, might begin to move in directions most people aren't very comfortable with...

Gee, Eddie. Chill. You won.

You sad fuck stick.

I Won. This photo shows my 'mandate'. Keep quiet out there, peons, or I'll ask Barney Frank to give a blow by blow update.

Remember, boys and girls, the King of Spain was able to stand up to Chavez and sink Chavvie's polling numbers. Plus, it's a cool picture at the link.

It takes true nobility to spot the pretenders. And it just takes five little words: ¿Por qué no te calles?

The glaring thing I noticed in this photo and I am surprised that it is missed in any commentary, is that Presidents Obama and Chavev are using the “black power handshake”. The common handshake is executed with the forearm extended straight out and the hands grasp one another. This is clearly the more communicative black power handshake with the forearms almost vertical and thumbs interlocked. This handshake may be a misnomer, but its history is pretty clear that it originated in the 1960s in both black and white Government resistance movements. Today, it is no longer politically defining, but it is used as a gesture that “we are in the same community.” The choice by Obama to use the “black power handshake” was a public display of solidarity and it was a choice made by a man who likely has a repertoires of handshakes from the one we noticed with John McCain which was stolid, to the double hand clasp and bow with King Abdullah. Obama had choices, wonder why he picked this one

Well, yeah. But failing that he should have at least grabbed Hugo in a head lock, and given him a major knuckle noogy.

Obama: "C'mon, Hugie, Quien es tu tio? eh? eh?"
Chavez: "AIII, Tio! Tiobammmmma! Ud. es mi oncle... Oncle Barak!"

That would have been really really cool.
