Of Kobe Bryant, Sports Fans, and the Role of the Role Model

Well, personally I was actually disappointed and shocked when I heard the allegations made on Kobe Bryant. The first thing that came to my mind was the possibility that something like that could happen. But in fact, so much attention is being paid to him, because he is a star that the chances of him doing it have increased. Well then to think about the possibilities of him doing it, I decided to think like a superstar. If I went to the NBA the age of 18, while getting paid a couple of million dollars a season, and also getting a lot of media attention, it wouldn’t be so much of a deal to attract fans (women on the most part.) Through 6 years of all stardom, I am sure it wouldn’t be so much problem as to one woman telling you “NO.” Basically the male instincts would tell you to move on to the next person on the list. Being a teenager, the girl had tried to climb the steps of fame through cheerleading, choir, and even trying to appear on American Idol. It would be a miracle to come across a means of her fame (Kobe), and if the means was to have relations with Kobe, then so be it. WHATEVER the means was, she seemed to only need 15 minutes of fame, to get herself some attention to. My main point is that Kobe is still a young man, and like I said earlier through 6 years of stardom it wouldn’t be so much of a deal to attract women. And what teenage girl would not want to have a moment ALONE with KOBE BRYANT, “THE MILLIONAIRE” ????

I wasn't shocked at all. People will do anything for fame and fortune even lie about being raped. I personallyy don't see why a big shot like Kobe would ever want to rape a girl when he is happily married or could pick a girl up off the street and pay her for sex!!!He doesn't have a motive to want to rape a 19 year old girl. I'm sure that he is very innocent. This girl needs to get a life and move on doing this to innocent basketball players is wrong and I believe it would be a little different if they girl haden't has sex with someone else that same night or if when she had gone for testing that there wasen't another mans cum on her underwear. I mean come on if your going to put up a case at least try to be a little innocent.
