And that's all I need to know about KW.

That clip cannot be showing Freddie Mercury laughing at Kanye West, because Freddie Mercury died in 1991. Still, it does seem appropriate. I'd never bothered to listen to Kanye West until now, and the clip only reinforces my opinion that I have lost nothing by ignoring him.

Didn't view the clip but looked up that idiots lyrics awhile back, just what I expected.

You can take the boy out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the boy.

Is it genetic for people to be that way?

The most disappointing part is so many white people have purchased his trash. I just don't get it.

Not the best Hitler clip, but still:

Speaking of "is it genetic for people to be that way" clearly racism isn't a genetic trait.

It's a choice.

Why do so many white people espouse that trash?

I actually do get it.

They're bigots.

Dear little Arthur,

Did it ever occur to you that much of it is simply first-hand observation?

Guess not.

Posted by Rob De Witt at February 28, 2016 4:10 PM

Rob, AssholeStone is a reactionary genetic failure.

Posted by ghostsniper at February 28, 2016 7:46 PM

Arthur believes that the Ghostsniper's question---"Is it genetic for people to be that way?"--is an example of bigotry.

Arthur!! Since when is genetics all about and only about racial groups? Do you share any traits with your parents?

No? Well, you were adopted.

But follow me closely here.

Many persons were NOT adopted, and therefore they are a lot like their parents. It's genetics.

Ghostsniper was merely wondering whether the douche in question---K. West--has parents who:

1. Can't carry a tune.
2. Have insectoid mandibles.
3. Make ritualistic gestures with arms and hands, resembling a crab scooping foodstuffs into its pie hole.
4. Believe themselves to be something other than talentless sacks of crap.
5. Are hung up on being short.

That's right. I said it. Short.

What a talentless hack, not even capable of carrying a tune. As an aside, maybe the only thing he is capable of is that facial expression of bitter jealousy and resentment exemplified by Michelle Obama

Twenty four hours in a day are scarcely enough for middle aged geezers to vent about a world which confuses, troubles, and angers them.

American Digest has chosen a difficult path and those of you who trudge alongside your fellows pining for the 'good old days' have my sympathy.

Just kidding. I'm very happy you all find so much to complain about.

Carol, above, has nailed it for me. I had not noticed the similarities in expression of Michelle and Kanye. It's quite striking that two people who have immense power and money can go about being constantly put-upon and aggrieved. The lack of talent hasn't slowed them down either.

'Bohemian Rhapsody' sucks. In fact, it sucks and blows at the same time, which is a rare accomplishment. It must be one of the worst songs ever foisted on an unsuspecting public. It's worse than 'MacArthur Park', 'Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves' and 'Ebony and Ivory' all rolled into one. Feh.

Sure, Freddy can sing it better, but why sing it at all?

Music is no longer *taught* in the defunct public school systems....

I remember in elementary school in the early 60's all of the students were taught the basics from 1st grade on and in the early years we used wooden sticks, bells, triangles, tamborines. The teacher used her little key harmonica to get the class in the proper key and we sung songs, every day. By age 8 I, and many others, were taking lesson on various instruments (trumpet for me, my brother took drum lessons, and both of my sisters chose piano).

25 years later when our son was in the *system* these things were no longer available (nor were shop classes, home economics, and many other things that helped young people develop into adults, resulting in an ocean of adult children you see everywhere today) and the quality of music being produced declined drastically.

The only people with the gall to call rap, music, are those with no idea what music is.
A vacuum was produced by the *system* eliminating the teaching of music which was then filled by anything that was readily available.

Intelligent people will not tolerate the insolence of the underclass ghetto mindset perpetrated by vacuum fillers of late.

Trash is trash as it always has been and always will be and if not maintained will spread resulting in a diminishing of the environment except for those areas where people care.

rap is a sign of degradation and it is no surprise that the arthurstones of society are attracted to it, after all, their intellect gives them no choice.

Can't we all just get along? No? Ok.

That's the second Kanye West 'song' I've stumbled across; the first was a rap video he did on a green screen motorcycle with his wife's bare, big, fat, white ass sitting on it with him. Her one word line "Baby!" was preferable to his only because it was shorter.
I'm asking the world to put 'trigger' warnings before his content before I see or hear a third.

Kanye stick with what you know.
You ain't in Mercury's class.

Posted by OdinsAcolyte at February 29, 2016 12:11 PM

There's a great documentary available on YouTube called 'Inside The Rhapsody' that shows how the finished Queen track was mixed from the raw tracks. The isolated tracks of Freddie Mercury are really impressive.
