Truth, good humor, brilliant imagination, simple explanation of the complex; a simple radiance of humble sweetness.
How many like him live today? Certainly none among the pseudo-scientists of the global warming cult.
It is a cycle. The carbon cycle, which is powered by energy from the sun. Life depends on it. All beautifully explained.
Everyone knows that the sun is getting smaller. All that energy and some matter too, it has to go someplace.
I'm thinking about all the tress growing. Used as sun energy storage units.
And I don't have a pocket protector for my pens.
A log "rotting" on the forest floor is likewise "burning", on fire, just slower; and a rusting piece of iron too. On fire. And the food in your stomach. Same process. Slow burning, that is, oxygenation.
Steady as she goes, John.
My uncle Louie Lozko, everybody that knew him called him "Letsgo Lozko" kind of alliterative for peasants, uh?
Anyway he taught me the difference between oxygenation and oxidation. He raised bantam chickens so he oughta know.
Oxygenation (environmental): a measurement of dissolved oxygen concentration in soil or water;
Oxydation: Oxidation is the loss of electrons or an increase in oxidation state by a molecule, atom, or ion.
As for the bantam chickens, those little sumbitches are the living descendants of velociraptors. I wouldn't be messing with 'em.
Chasmatic, Oops! I stand corrected. Thanks.
Feynman was the best! A quote: "It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong." That's the problem with the "carbon" scare (man-made global warming). It is contradicted by experiment (the real world). So it's wrong.
Nobel recipient Prof. Freeman Dyson wrote that if the Nobel Prize was not limited to three scientists per prize, Dr. Feynman would have won it for synthesizing and reducing to practice the Feynman/Schwinger/Tomonaga solutions to the renormalization problems of quantum electrodynamics. But since Dyson and Feynman both criticized the man-made global warming narrative, the climate alarmist crowd demonizes them now.
Feynman was the best. There aren't many like him now, and none with the common touch he had. Now what we have are rent-seeking scientists feeding at the taxpayer trough, promoting the global warming scare. There are very few honest ones left.
