What a dynamic! Uncle Sam meets Johnny Canuck. With a folk hero like Big Joe Mufferaw, a French Canadian folk hero from the Ottawa Valley, perhaps best known today as the hero of a song by Stompin' Tom Connors. Like Paul Bunyan, he made his living chopping down trees.
Canada is looking better and better every day. No "Press one for English". Canada has been bilingual for decades.
French ain't that bad to learn. Why, it is C'est du g√Ęteau. ("a piece of cake", slang)

Where's the Ballard Driving School ??
(obscure 'Almost Live' reference ...)

ace: I thought Ballard went down with the Maple Leaf Gardens?
The Horseshoe still open? The Brunswick House?
Ah, those were the days; ahem, those I could remember that is.
